hi recently been working on a robot character :3

having a lot of fun writing a ton of story and lore for it

trying to do light/dark areas more and not super sure how with Procreate

i also tried learning how to do like, lighting a little bit?? idk what im really doing so im pretty much just winging it but fuck it we ball LMAO

im very proud of how hard youve worked and everything youve done to take care of yourself <3

in the beginning of 2024, i was severely depressed, dragging myself through the rest of sophomore year just to get it over with, and i honestly just wanted it all to be over. every time i crossed the street, i wished someone would run a red so i wouldn’t have to do it anymore.

i made it through tho. and i got myself help. i reached out for help. it was really hard, because it involved telling my parents i didnt think college was right for me and that i have depression, but i did it.

now im working full time with good pay at a job i really enjoy, im living on my own and supporting myself financially, im a little rusty with maintaining friendships but im getting there, and i met the most amazing person on the entire fucking planet who i so luckily get to call mine <3

so all in all id say it was a good year. do widzenia 2024. time to keep moving forward

technically, yes. any liquid with a relatively high specific temperature capacity (amount of energy needed to raise the temperature of a substance by 1 degree) could be used as a coolant!

HOWEVER in reality it would be REALLY impractical. the liquid part of blood (called Plasma, not the blood cells themselves) is mostly water! however the other parts in blood like fats, salt, and the actual cells all contribute to blood being pretty viscous and therefore harder to pump. so because of the water component it would be somewhat effective in terms of amount of heat it could absorb! however impractical to actually pump or collect!

thats why actual coolants are often water-based and/or additionally very slick! the easier to pump it is, the faster the coolant can be cycled with less effort from pumps because you also have to take into account the minor heat gain from friction and the pumps themselves.

additionally you have to take into account the effect of the blood cells dying and how that would affect the blood. and specific heat as well as what would be waste.

in short, technically yes! but realistically no :(

thats why i made this design with a separate liquid coolant from the blood! the blood is separated and used for a very small-scale combustion engine in this design! minus the harmful emissions from fossil fuels since its, well, blood and not fossil fuel.
