3 years ago I 1-upped my brother on our “Bad Blood” text exchanges!

2 years ago today this happened!

So, for a couple years now, my brother Chris and I have texted each other when we hear the @taylorswift song “Bad Blood”. I’m not sure how or why this started, but it’s our thing. Sometimes these texts break the days and even weeks that we don’t talk because....well....life. Usually he sends me a video of him in his car with the song on, while I’m more camera shy and I just take a video and aim it at the radio showing which song it is. Well Chris.........I WIN!!!!!!!!! (I wish I could post both videos)

At physical therapy today, I noticed a new patient walk in. I NEVER talk to random people, as I’m very introverted. However, before I left I just HAD to say something to her. I told her I loved her shirt! Of course, it was a @taylorswift Reputation shirt!

I got both of my nieces hooked on @taylorswift The baby is only 17 months old. She can’t say much, but when she says “Ta Ta” you better put Taylor Swift music videos on (which is pretty much ALL day every day) 😂😂😂

Wow! 10 years have gone by since I woke up like this. Lol. In all seriousness, I will never stop sharing this photo, in hopes of getting through to just one person. THIS is the result of a tiny bump below my eye that ended up being skin cancer. This was the worst experience of my life. Some people think skin cancer is no big deal. Sometimes, it’s an easy excision, you put a band-aid on it and you’re good to go. Lucky you! Other times, it’s much worse. I still have lingering effects and although I know how lucky I am and how much my scar has faded, I still see it every time I look in the mirror. Not to mention, that part of my face has a different feeling (numbness) and to this day, depending on my sleep position, I can wake up to a swollen eye that lasts most of the morning. I’m not looking for sympathy. I’m just hoping that you will think twice about going to that tanning booth, or sitting in the sun to get some color. It’s not worth it. I didn’t even partake in these types of activities, I was just careless a few times and forgot to wear sunscreen and stay out of the sun.
