Disintegrated Personality
Disintegrated Personality refers to the state in which what would have otherwise developed into a unified identity (or integrated personality) has instead split or fragmented into multiple distinct parts due to chronic trauma, particularly in early childhood. This term is often used to describe the foundation of trauma-based plurality, including systems with DID or OSDD-1.
In children, the personality does not start fully unified—it develops in parts (self-states). When ongoing trauma prevents these parts from integrating naturally, they may remain separate into adolescence and adulthood, resulting in a system. This is known as structural dissociation.
A disintegrated personality is not "broken"—it is a survival adaptation. The system forms to:
Protect the individual from overwhelming experiences
Distribute traumatic memories across multiple headmates
Handle different life tasks and environments with specialized roles

Jack of All Trades
A Jack of All Trades is a headmate in a truama-based system who holds many different roles or skills, rather than just specializing in just one. They mat switch between tasks easily, take over in emergencies, or fill in when no other part can front for a particular need.
Often shaped by unstable or overwhelming environments, a Jack of All Trades may have developed in response to needing to "do it all"—survive, function, and adapt—especially in the absence of external support or when other parts couldn't safely front.
Jacks of All Trades often go unrecognized or misunderstood, since their flexibility can mask the extent of their labor. They may seem "fine" because they're capable—but carrying many roles can take a psychological toll over time.

Welcome to The Veilbound Archives
The Veilbound Archives is meant to be my own interpretations of various system things such as roles, functions, etc etc. I just want to state this now that this account is NOT meant for endo systems and they are not welcome here.
Now that being said, if you want partial credit for any of the terms featured on here then please message me privately, again these are just the @circleofcrows management's personal terminology that we wanted to put in one singular reference point.
Feel free to suggest things to add as well as submitting flags or symbols if you'd like! :)
