@enshrcuded got a surprise starter !
when he head the front door open, alfonso had a wide smile plastered on his face. "if you say honey i'm home, i'm going back to the room." he finished plating the picadillo and then placed the pot back on the stove. "is it a beer or water type of dinner?" the half ghost was moving so much that he hadn't even properly looked at isaac's way yet. he was however wearing a kiss the chef apron with his sweat shorts. "just sit, i'll bring it to you."

william levy, pansexual, cis male + he/him → isn’t that alfonso tellez-lancaster? i’ve seen them hanging out with the half ghosts. i hear they’re 694, but they’ve only been in alexandria for 120+ years. they seem to be extroverted & gentle, but also evasive & superstitious.
when everyone was focusing on new technology in the 1300s, alfonso was still focused on healing people
at first it was through natural remedies passed down by generations and then his mother was labeled a witch for those same practices
he decided to flee from his home and settle down elsewhere
that was where he met isaac and it was an instant connection
he didn’t know that the two of them would be hunted down together when they decided to get married
between the witch hunters and the fire that broke out, alfonso met what was supposed to be his end
then his husband came back to the scene of the crime after he was resurrected and his tears had a similar impact on him
due to the time that had passed and the talisman left by the hunters, alfonso was revived but ended up being a half ghost
that did somehow allow him to spend the rest of his life with isaac though and followed him everywhere
he kept on with his medical profession, sometimes working with hospitals and other times working with the first responders
when they arrived to alexandria, he decided to work alongside the paramedics again
soon enough, he became the captain and was in charge of the whole group
it’s tough work at times, especially with this group of misfits, but luckily for everyone he’s up for the challenge
legend has it that some of his family is still out there and he might be looking for them, but that’s a secret he doesn’t tell many people
instead he does share that he’s an amazing cook and always loves to host dinners at the station where he’s doing most of the cooking

going about his day to day was always fun in cream & sugar, easily one of his favorite parts. he interacted with a lot of different people across various walks of life. when he got the sense that their love lives were also a bit complicated, he couldn't help but want to intervene. that was why he wanted to get closer to kendall and he was happy when the half ghost decided to stop him. he called someone to tell him that he was going to take his lunch and then he sat down across the other, with a smile on his face.
"i have more than just a moment for you. how does thirty minutes sound? feel free to ask me whatever you want i'm pretty much an open book."
sitting inside of 'cream & sugar' he was writing down a few ideas in his notebook. he waws still unsure as to what he wanted to do with his life. He had been dead for nearly forty years at this point, so there was no excuse now. He wasn't going to any 'great beyond' and he wasn't going to be taken away. so now it was time for him to reclaim his life. get into things that he didn't have a chance too. he was a nurse in his past life, but that was out of neccesity and having children only halted him. so now he was writing ideas out of things he wanted to do. seeing his acai being placed down, he smiled up at the heart melting barista. cerio. "hey, do you have a moment for me to pick your brain? just questions about jobs and such."

there were a lot of things about hyde that didn't make sense. he was a pastor who slept with men for starters. he was a darklighter who was a paster to put that icing on the cake. everything with kendall also had an air of complexity to it as well. they had children together and they were always going to be connected one way or another. to the half ghost's dismay, at least one of their sonds had turned out like hyde and he wouldn't wish that on his worst enemy. that's why he couldn't exactly leave town anymore, he had to start figuring some things out.
the knock was merely to just announce himself since he was going to walk in anyway. once he walked inside, he started to unbutton his shirt so that he could get a bit more comfortable. "it was good. we only had one person who said they needed the seed of the lord to rid themselves of demons." which he didn't know if they wanted him to breed him or what, but that wasn't going to help him.
kendall had an amazing time at the masquerade ball. he even had to say that hyde was on his best behavior, so that ws the reason for his mood at the moment when he was spring cleaning his home. He knew that he had to enjoy the good times while they lasted . he heard the front door open and automatically knew that it was hyde coming in, because their sons were out for a few hours. he wasn't sure what he and hyde were doing with their lives or even together, so it made him more confused when the male came over and things just... either fit or they got into a heated argument and had the best sex ever. looking up he smiled softly when he saw hyde enter into the room. he turned and looked at him with a bright smile. "how was service today?" he asked, since it was sunday. not sure if he was a beliver in anything, especially with all of the species out there, but he wasn't sure if he wanted to go to hyde's church with knowing the things that the male got up to.

The last thing he was going to was go up to the cat and tried to touch it while it was busy eating. Camael might have been a lot of things and old as shit, but at least he still had his manners to him. Unlike his father, but that was a story for another day apparently. "Don't worry. I'll stay right here and be good by keeping my hands to myself." To express that even more, he tucked his hands behind his back and grabbed his left wrist with his right hand. There was no way he was going to interrupt now.
The nephilim actually played back what he had said in his own head to make sure that he didn't accidentally say the wrong thing. Sometimes, he didn't pay attention to what came out of his mouth. "I, uh... Yeah I do?" Was that the wrong thing to say? He was a little confused which showed by how his brows furrowed on his forehead. "Exactly. There's a reason why they like to hide in tires and that can be even more dangerous." He smiled softly and nodded. "I'll remember that. Maybe I'll start walking around with some treats too." He took one of the cubes and crouched down, holding his open palm with the snack in his hand.
Casey, like the cats, also keeps safe distance. There is a reason why he prefers the company of animals over people, supernatural or not. Not that he is antisocial or impolite, but he likes to keep them at arm's length. "It's alright. They're used to it at this point. Just... don't try to pat or anything." Living on the streets is harsh and taxing, and most of the strays view people as threats. They treat Casey with certain uneasiness even though he has been feeding them for years. Except for the yellow one here.
Casey was half expecting the 'you can't feed them, they'll produce and cause a mess in the neighborhood' or 'they are so cute, I want to pick them up' response. He wasn't prepared for that response. "You like what I'm doing?" He repeats, somewhat dumbfounded. "Oh. Thanks... I guess? Someone needs to take care of them, especially during winter, so." A fellow animal lover, Casey can appreciate that. He pulls out a plastic jar full of dried fish cube treats and hands it to the other. "You can try bribing them if you want."

"oh i'm not joking about that at all." suddenly katriel realized that there were some people at the party that didn't know about the supernatural world. was eve listening in on them? he sure hoped so. people needed to realize he wasn't good at keeping secrets or being in social interactions. "don't worry i hope that nothing is going to snatch you up if you're nearby. it's mainly so certain people can just come in and out as they please."
placeholder. some customs clearly were going over the banshee's head and he wasn't going to wrap his mind around that. he didn't have an issue with at least one person knowing his identity. especially since he might not pay attention if he was called something else for the entire night. "if you really want to know who i am, i can leave my mask on the nightstand just for you." his voice was soft, almost like he was talking about breaking the rules. "unless you want to be whiskey for the rest of the night and neither of us will know who the other is." a small smile formed on his face, poking out underneath the mask.
"since i stepped foot in this town it seems both massive and small all at once. there's a lot of businesses and a lot going on, but everyone that's been here for over a year is extremely tight knit and they all know each other. they're also like what you would think a suburban mom is when it comes tot he welcome wagon." katriel had a bitter taste in his mouth when he spoke about that. most people would feel appreciative, but sometimes he just wanted his solace. "don't worry, i can just roll around in the ground if they're going to give me any trouble." he had to keep him at an arms length before he got too close.
the banshee actually let out a small laugh. he wondered if the other would've spoken like that if he knew who was really behind the mask. "i don't think i'm going to win you any brownie points when it comes to a popularity contest." katriel looked over at him, taking the time to eat another piece of dried apricot. another loner? what were the odds? "if it makes you feel any better, that's much cooler than spending most of your alone time at the cemetery because of your job. do you want to actually put yourself out there?"
"i want that to be a joke but honestly? something tells me you aren't messing with me. should i be worried that i'm not surprised by that?" he questioned with mild amusement mixed with a hint of exasperation. being human, especially in a town like this, left him in a constant state of having to catch up and it felt as if he never would. "i appreciate the heads up. sounds like i will be avoiding the caves until i figure out what all i want to believe in." christopher mused.
"oh, uh, less of a nickname and more of a, uh," what? how was he supposed to explain that, since he didn't know the other's name, he was attempting to flirt by addressing him with the moniker of one of his favorite anime characters growing up because they were both a) handsome, b) in a suit with a mask, and c) charming. "placeholder?" christopher questioned with a weak laugh and furrowed brows. "until you tell me to call you something else, or until we abandon the whole masked mystery aspect of the night."
"--but i don't mind you calling me tequila, though i prefer whiskey. i've been called worse."
"sounds like alexandria has a small town vibe." christopher knew what that was like. even though the city he was from wasn't small, the locals were very small-town minded; everyone knew everyone's business, sometimes your neighbors knew what was going on in your life before you did; no one was a stranger; no one had any privacy. "i think i'm still in that safety net of being new enough that most people aren't paying me any attention, but i can wrinkle your suit up a bit for you if you'd like so they don't swarm you when we leave." he offered with a smirk lifting the right corner of his mouth.
"thanks," the human added on with a nod of his head as he reached forward to grab a piece of the fruit for himself and pop it into his mouth. "i've been on worst first dates." he joked with a sigh. "who knows, could do my reputation some good if people think i could land a guy like you. then again, i have no reputation around here. guess that's a blessing and a curse caused by hiding out in my garage for a month. this is actually my first time since moving here getting out and trying to meet people..."

❝ yes. you know that i don't have any bad intentions when it comes to speaking with you and i'll just protect you if anyone tries to take you to one of the rooms. technically you don't know that, but i'm giving you scout's honor. ❞ that was what humans said, wasn't it? normally marven was used to sticking with his own merfolk and protecting them. yet, there was something about the beautiful masked person in front of him that he also wanted to take them under his arms and make sure no harm came their way. ❝ if you think i'm a creep, feel free to kick me in the balls and i'll limp away in shame. ❞ he wanted to make it clear that this also wasn't going to be something that was forced. they had a choice in being with him for the night or someone else. ❝ it takes some getting used to, but you're get there eventually if that's what you want. ❞ marven toyed with how specific he was going to be when answering their question. one wrong phrase and he could've given it all away in a heartbeat. ❝ the coast of northern africa. traveled here with a group of friends about a year ago when we were touring the world. ❞ that was all they needed to know for now. ❝ what about you? ❞
❝ so let me get this straight: you wanna help me keep off suitors ... by being my suitor ? ❞ the feline familiar deadpans. any other time, they'd have tossed the water into their face for trying to weasel their way with a ploy like that ... but something oddly feels genuine about this guy, like in their own weird way it was a sincere act of kindness. it puzzled isa to say the least ... but compared to the people they know are at this ball who were certified sleazeballs, it was probably their best option not to fight some nutcase tonight. ❝ I guess ... it couldn't hurt. ❞ isa mumbles a little; even if their visage is shifted, their oddly cute wavering social presence was still in tact, taking the glass of water in acceptance of the other's suggestion. ❝ sounds like you're more prepped for this stuff than me. me and crowds don't really mix. ❞ cats were creatures of solitude, as much as they hated the assumptions at they were a walking cat person who did stupid things like lick themselves or go ham over a bowl of milk, they couldn't deny the urge to hiss like hell at people bothering them. ❝ where are you from then, if not a native here ? ❞ isa was a little curious about who was behind the mask now.

Normally, Winston wasn't the type to make someone speechless or take the words out of their mouths. He was genuinely surprised when it happened. Perhaps the mask was making him a little bit more bold and open than usual.
"This night is to enjoy ourselves while getting to know people in different ways, right? I don't see the harm in taking you for a spin on the dance floor." Hopefully neither did the other man. The kitsune didn't know when the masks were going to come off, but he was starting to get more and more comfortable with them.
Hook and sinker. The second that the man grabbed a hold of his arm he knew that he was in, at least for one dance, and he was going to take advantage of that. He walked them towards one of the quiet corners of the floor where they could speak more than next to the speakers and actually get to know one another.
Then Winston moved his hands to rest on the other's hips, bringing him a bit closer as he started to move them around the dance floor. He didn't mind taking the lead. Actually, he might have preferred it.
He leaned over to whisper in the man's ear. "Just so you know, you definitely made my night much more exciting here even if I don't know who you are."
Tao's blinked owlishly, eyes widened as Winston's invitation sank in. The kitsune's bold offer left Tao momentarily speechless. He opened his mouth, then closed it, his teeth clicking as he struggled to find the right words.
A delighted chuckle rumbled low in his throat as his lips curved into a roguish grin. "Well now," His voice was smooth, something like curiosity shaded his eyes as he peered from behind the mask. "It seems you have some rather interesting ideas in mind for how we might become... acquainted."
He knew he should refuse, politely demur and extract himself from this deliciously tempting situation before it went too far. Tao had learned the hard way that getting too close, too invested, only led to heartache. Relationships, even fleeting trysts, were a risk he'd vowed never to take again.
And yet...
Winston's words rang in his ears, that sensuous purr sending a delicious shiver racing down Tao's spine. Just this once, a voice whispered seductively. One dance, one night of reckless abandon before retreating back into solitude.
His fingers traced Winston's arm lightly, a featherlight caress from wrist to bicep. "Lead the way."

even though he didn't feed off of someone's pheromones, having sex was still a pleasurable thing for him. what joachim found interesting was that he had helped a couple of younger men finish that day and they didn't even have the stamina to finish him off during their sessions. this was the biggest edge that he had been building up since arriving to the town. with the amount of sons and daughters he probably had walking around, it wasn't like his seed wasn't potent either. maybe that was for the best. they didn't need a baby daddy like him.
the fae let the younger man go after giving him three orgasms. once with his mouth, once with his hands, and once with his cock. he felt pleased, but again, he ended up just being pent up. what he didn't expect was someone else to walk in like there was a line forming outside. a small smirk spread across his face, he'd recognize that mask anywhere. he'd basically been eye fucking the man he assumed to be around his age the whole night. he perked himself up on the best, using his elbows as support. "you could say that i'm just a selfless person. don't this only for the pleasures of others so they could say that they had mind blowing sex tonight." he got up from the bed and walked on over to the dresser. it was closer to the other man, but not to the point where he seemed desperate to jump his bones. joachim crossed his arms over his chest, biceps flexing in the process. "do you know who could keep up with me? feel free to send him in and tell him to close the door on his way in. wouldn't want anyone interrupting us."
@veilmetricked; for ezra to have a bite (or more) out of joachim at the masquerade ball.
if the masquerade was a buffet, he just needed to have a first bite before he got going. and once ezra got going, it was hard for him to stop. release your inhibitions, feel the rain on your skin and all that. he'd been exchanging glances with someone across the main hall for the better part of the evening; multiple times, ezra had seen him go into rooms with a different person and come out soon after. he could respect that — it wasn't a competition per see but the incubus was mirroring that, albeit at a slower pace, taking his time to feed as he went.
ezra however, was curious as to the nature of the man in question; surely a supernatural being too but what kind exactly eluded him. it was possible the other was an incubus too, but there were way too many other options. the door to the room opened and some twink exited, nearly bumping into him. a hand on the young man's shoulder (though they just looked young... in this town you'd never really know now could you?) to steady him before leaving him to his own devices. ezra could sense he'd been drained, tired out — clearly not food for him; and besides those weren't his type anyway. he far preferred studs like the guy he'd been eye-fucking all evening; they usually lasted longer and had way more for him to devour. the incubus then elegantly sidestepped straight into the room, leaning against the frame. his smile was all teeth, predatory but grinning. "now, don't you think it's time to choose someone that could keep up with you? the poor boy looked astoundingly haggard."

Good acts went a long way in Camael's book and they weren't something that was easy to come by. A lot of the time, it seemed like people were just concerned with their own selfish vendetta and only helped others if it was going to benefit them. That was why when he saw the man feeding the strays, a group of cats that probably were never going to manifest into something more and pay him back, a soft smile formed on his face.
He decided to walk over to him, but then he stopped dead in his tracks when he realized that he might have been spoking the cats that he wasn't familiar with. He raised his arms up in defense and gave the man an apologetic smile. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to get in the middle of their dinner. Scout's honor." A part of him wondered if he even could lie. "You don't have to move them ofr me. I liek what you're doing."
LOCATION: Streets MUSE: Casey Callahan STATUS: Open | @unveilstarters
Just off to the side of the road, Casey crouches down and places two bowls on the ground. After pouring clean water into one and cat food into the other, he makes a chittering sound. Soon few cats slink out of the shadow and congregate around the bowls. He doesn't pat them or anything, simply watches over them eating and drinking. Feeding strays has been part of his morning routine for decades. Someone needs to look out for them. Might as well be him.
His little ritual is interrupted, however, with the approaching footstep. Some cats run, while the others back away to keep safe distance. But one yellow cat, the one who is more affectionate with people, stays and feasts on the wet food. Sighing, Casey stands up and says, "don't... make any sudden movement, please. They're skittish." He gestures toward the yellow cat. "Once he's done eating, I'll move the bowls. Won't take long."

Almost juxtaposing the familiar, Hyde was wearing a full black outfit. A nice suit that hugged his body nicely and then a black shirt with the buttons at the top mostly popped off. They stopped at the middle of his torso, revealing his hairy chest for anyone that dared get close to him that night. He loved the anonymity of the dance because that meant no one knew who he was. No one knew how dangerous he could actually be if he wanted to. Hook and sinker. The second that he felt someone come up next to him, he plastered on a fake smile on his face and tried to seem as innocent as ever.
"Oh no." A pout formed on his face. Realistically, he didn't care whether or not others were bored or having a good time. Yet that meant that he was going to have someone to play with. "What can I do to help? I hate that I'm not the best juggler, but I'm sure we can find something you like doing that I'm good at."
event masquerade ball location the chateau
The night was dragging on in a pleasant way that had Evern wishing that it would never end. So many drinks to taste, lips to kiss and men to leave wanting more. It had been a while since they had gotten to play like this, busy doing their duties as a familiar for Leo Malikov. Yet tonight they were allowed to play which was exactly what they did. Pulling away from their latest victim of kisses, Evern winked and headed towards the bar not giving the other a glance back. They forgot what number that boy had been having lost count of how many kisses they had stolen that night but now they had their sights on something a bit more. The pure white suit was getting a bit heavy with all the booze in their system so Evern tugged a few of the buttons on their shirt open as they slid up to the bar. Ordering a vodka and soda, their bright blue eyes scanned who else was currently at the bar and--
There, perfect.
Turning on their charm, the familiar slid up to the figure they had spotted and wasted no time with, "I have a problem, think you could help me? You see I am awfully bored and..." Evern let their sentence trail off hoping the other would fill in the blanks of just how they could help them.

"People often times tend to take their own version of the story and twist other people's words. Don't you agree?" That was one of the first things he learned in his training. Sometimes peace treaties had no point because neither side was going to listen to one another. Unless the parties had more to lose than to gain from being at war, they weren't going to be interested. "Being out and the open is a wonderful thing. No one has beautiful as you should have to hide their true self." The second the man said bakery, Joachim had narrowed it down to just a handful of people. That brought a proud grin to cover his face underneath the mask. "That's what's fair, yes."
"Do you not usually make sense to people?" Greyson teased with a soft chuckle. He was often the one who didn't make sense to others. The dragon had picked up a lot about 'human' culture over the centuries but he still often felt like a lot of things went over his head. He considered the other's words, toying with the dragon mask on his face - all he really wanted to do was take it off but Grey attempted to keep up the formality. "I mean I'm not really all that interested in power. I just wanted to live somewhere and open my bakery in a place where I didn't have to hide what I am." He answered thoughtfully. Grey rose a brow at the cocky smile, smirking a little in return. "Oh will we now?"

"Tell you what, once these masks come off I'll tell you anything that you want to know about me." For the first time, his own voice sounded seductive. "For now, I'd like to keep you on the edge of your seat."
When he started to have conversations with people, he realized it wouldn't have been that hard to try and guess. Although, Winston had spent a long time relying on his aura reading that he couldn't pick up on the smaller details anymore. That was why he was glad to put that to the side and get to know others again.
He was growing more and more curious as to who Tao was by the second. Even what species he was, but most importantly, just a couple of his personality traits. That's what was really going to get him going.
The kitsune shook his his head, but was then grateful that the other didn't feel the need to introduce himself. "Exactly. There our other ways for us to bond tonight that don't require us having to know each other."
Winston put his drink down and wiped his hand with a napkin that was on top of a pile on a nearby table. Then he turned back to his guest of the night and extended his hand out to him.
"I love to dance, especially when I have a partner as handsome as you are underneath that mask. Care to join me?"
"An advantage, you say?" Tao murmured, his voice low and smooth as honey. "Now that sounds like a story I'd love to hear. Care to share your secret? I promise I won't tell a soul."
Tao's searched his mind as he studied Winston's features, trying to place him among the city's residents. There was something vaguely familiar about the man, a nagging sense of recognition that Tao couldn't quite pin down. Had they crossed paths before? At some shop or park, perhaps?
No, Tao would have remembered a man like this. The easy confidence, the sharp wit, the undeniable magnetism - Winston was the kind of person who left an impression. And yet, who was he beneath the mask?
A part of Tao was tempted to introduce himself, to let his real name slip from his lips and see if it sparked any recognition in Winston's eyes. But another part of him, the part that relished the thrill of the game, held back.
Perhaps it's better this way, Tao mused silently. The anonymity, the air of intrigue. We could be anyone tonight.
His smile widened, taking on a playful edge. "I don't believe I caught your name," Tao said, his tone light and teasing. "But then again, that's half the fun of a masquerade, isn't it? The mystery."
He chuckled softly, his gaze drifting back to the swirling crowd. "Tell me, do you dance? Or do you prefer to observe from the sidelines?"

Going after younger people wasn't really something that he was going to allow himself to be judged for. At least what he could see from the man's body he realized that the other was younger than him, physically, but that wasn't going to stop him from flirting with him. If anything, that just made the heretic curious what a tight young body like his could do in bed. Experience and stamina were already great things to have.
A part of him wondered if it was the whole anonymous thing making the younger man that adventurous, but another part of him also didn't care. He was having fun and both of them could've definitely gotten up to some trouble together. That was enough to make him see the benefit of talking to him and feeling up his ass. "And it's your lucky night too, because I'm willing to go multiple rounds without charging for my services just for this night." Gregory couldn't help but flex his pecs when he felt the hand on his chest and then squeezed the other's ass again. Afterwards, he gave the cheek a quick spank and downed his drink in record time.
"I do like my boys obedient. Follow me." The heretic wasted no time in trading his empty glass for a key and slipped into the chateau. He walked up to the third floor and opened room 312, already kicking off his shoes with impressive speed.
Mateo let his eyes flick down the man who he'd called out so boldly, his eyes admiring that exposed chest and choice of suit with an easy smirk dancing over his lips. Even the magic of the night blocking off most of what you could use to identify someone, he could tell the other was older than him at the very least. Not that he minded in the least. God knows the kitsune had a daddy kink that could burn hotter than the literal sun when turned on the right way.
His head tilted just a touch as the other moved across the space between them. "Oh?"" The younger boy answered as the other rather boldly let that hand run down and take a squeeze of that oh so perky ass of his. The fox Spirit almost purred at that simple move. He was weak for a man who simply went after what they wanted. Mateo's hips tilted back into that touch to encourage it as his owns moved up to brush along the mystery man's chest. "You know it is your lucky day. Tonight I am giving out free test drives for anyone who might take a fancy." Mateo teased, his head tilting back slightly as he leaned into playing the slut tonight. Normally that might have been more of his brothers thing but tonight? Everything was on the table.
"I'm sure your final decisions be something along the lines of "I can't give this ass up for anything." He teased as he leaned up slightly to tease his lips against the others ear. "Grab a key and you can do whatever you want to me, Sir."
