the flicker of a streetlamp outside. illumination and darkness, and an unfurling layer of mist. the light, snapshotting the presence of an empty street. then complete darkness, three deafening knocks against the door before the light comes back to life. black paint smeared on a wall of yoo's. a handprint much too long to be human and the words - "the grove is watching".

no matter where he is, seungmin never trusts what comes out at night. the last time he ever felt comfort from the sun's presence in the sky was the walk he had before he arrived home and saw his wife alive for the very last time.

and even if he was inside of a shelter of some sort, he knew that there was all sorts of evil lurking in the shadows outside of his business. so as he's working on the last bit of paperwork from his desk, he immediately stops what he is doing when he hears three loud knocks on the door.

his head looks up to the door quickly and if it had eyes, he'd win in a staring contest against it. he stands from his desk quickly before making his way there, looking around himself to try and find the nearest weapon he had on him. could it be a customer? sure... but why would a customer come when the business is closed? and what will happen if he lets his guard down this once?

at least he'd be able to join eunbyul again... but she would probably be less than happy over the reunion.

he sighs in relief when he sees the umbrella by the door, noting that the sharp end could potentially stab someone if given enough force. in the given chance that it's the asshole who killed his wife, he'd make sure to have them regret ever taking away such an innocent life. who knows? maybe he'd be doing another person a favor before another innocent person ends up on that list.

he walks to the door, umbrella in his hand, and looks through the peephole to see.... no one. but for all he knows, the culprit could be hiding from the side and planning to attack him. maybe they're stupid enough to believe that he isn't armed. or worse... they're much more smarter than he is and they've been keeping an eye on him.

he opens the door quickly, moving his hand back on the umbrella to prepare to attack.... only to be greeted by darkness and mist. he carefully walks more forward, his eyes analyzing his surroundings to make sure he doesn't any sign of movement... and that's when he turns the corner, looking at the handprint, smeared paint that drips from the walls to the ground.

and it haunts him.

he turns to face around him, the "weapon" still in his hands as he whips it around in the directions he turns in. "i'll find you!" he shouts into the night. "to the sick fuck who did this.... ALL of this... i will FIND you. and i will make you regret everything."

and like that, he marches into the building, closing the door behind him with a loud SLAM that echoes in the neighborhood.

HELLO PARTY PEOPLE! my name is clem (they/them, est)! and i am the mun for the one and only... YOO SEUNGMIN! the young and cold electrician of yoo's electric service! i haven't rped with other people via tumblr in a HOT second, so please do be patient with me!!! i've just redownloaded xkit so that i can get back into the groove of how things used to be LOL

anyways here's some info on yours truly! his bio in tl;.dr!

oldest AND only son with three little sisters... when we get multiple muse slots and u wanna rp them... hmu ;)

lived in velgrove all his life! son to the original founder of yoo's electric service

was a pretty typical older brother until his dad disappeared when he was nine... ruh roh!

as a result, his mom becomes the new owner and manager of yoo's electric service and she also had to be a mother on top of that... so that left seungmin feeling very guilty! so he decided that he needed to take on the responsibility of essentially being a father figure to his little sisters!

lowkey the pressure was a lot for him but he kinda just accepted that was how he was going to live. when his childhood best friend became an orphan and he insisted that she lived with him, she told him that she wouldn't live with him unless he lets himself be himself... to which he was like "UHHHH" so they had to compromise where she would help him out with being the one responsible for the family.

when he turned nineteen, he took ownership of the business and also realized he was in love with his best friend (yes the orphan one) <3 after a few years, they got married when he proposed to her!

two years after they got married she was MURDERED in front of his house! and he had her die in his arms and that's essentially when he decided that he was going to try and find the murderer and end them.

with no wife and basically feeling like the whole entire family depends on him, he's very miserable and grouchy >:( but he does have a soft side that comes out when there are babies or small animals or just... very naive people. he's been hardened because of the fact that he lost his father AND his true love from being in velgrove.

he's really only in velgrove for his family... and vengeance...

some of you may be wondering... why a dandelion? well i based his blog off of a tripleS song that has dandelion motifs in it i mean he associated his wife with a violet flower and he himself is a dandelion because before he was able to be sturdy (yellow dandelion) but with time, he becomes a sensitive puff that loses himself from even the small touch of a wind so it represents his pressures
