He’s been trying to convince himself of that for the past thirty minutes, but he doesn’t move, if anything settles back into the pillows. Could blame Hux, if he chose, as he’s currently half-draped across Kylo’s chest, snoring gently.

He doesn’t take it personally, that he fell asleep in the middle. It happens.

They hadn’t been–they don’t always, that is. In fact, they’re still both mostly dressed, only boots and gloves and belts discarded before they’d slumped into Hux’s bed together, trading warm, lazy kisses and caresses.

(Strange: neither of them, really, can get enough of simple touching.)

I think the problem with TLJ is that this movie is “at least one great movie one horrible movie and half of a meh movie all put together” as my friend nicely put it

After sleeping on it, I’m feeling more positive about the new movie.  (It also helps that I was informed that - spoilers!!! - Phasma will be in the next film!)

I didn’t mention before that I really enjoyed Luke’s characterization.  He seemed a lot like how I imagined he would age.  Emotional?  Dramatic?  Stubborn?  I really enjoyed the way he interacted with Rey, too.  Interested in hearing peoples�� thoughts about this.

Still having some overall qualms.  Seeing it again today so more thoughts later.

Thank You! I am starting to suspect my dying plants have something to do with how much I water them (90% sure you can’t drown something that can grow in just a jar of water like bamboo). Always assumed that since my flat is pretty warm and windows face south plants will need regular water and probably went a little overboard with the amount of water. Thank you again!

First congratultions on your plants (not sure if this is a proper way to compliment ones gardening ability but still) Second how? I went through your plantwitch tag and how do you do that? I mean every plant that I touch (aside from bamboo for some reason) dies slow and horrible death? How do you make them flourish so beautifuly? Tell me your secret please.

Well first the good news- I have totally killed bamboo haha so you’re already one up on me 😊 my MIL is an avid gardener, with an allotment too, and not only can I grow things she can’t, she’s also killed some of my plants while babysitting them. Everyone has an affinity to different types of plants and sometimes it takes a while to find yours. So in your case I’d suggest searching for plants that like similar growing conditions to bamboo.

I’d also suggest looking in the discount plants at supermarkets. They tend to be totally fine, just a bit ugly or their flowers are gone etc. The good thing with those is also that you won’t feel so bad if they don’t make it because it’s a lower cost and hey you gave them a chance! You did a good thing!

I have an orchid that I got for cheaper than the vase it’s in because its flowers were gone. It was full of water. They don’t like being wet so I drained it and stood it in the sun for a couple of days before putting it back in its pot. It’s now growing 3 new flower stems! My MIL is convinced that store bought orchids never reflower and yet…

I also tend to neglect my plants way more than the instructions advise, with a couple of exceptions I do let them get dry, I don’t move them much and I rarely feed them. That’s because our house tends to be cold so water takes a long time to evaporate which risks rot. If you have a hotter house you might want to do differently. It can also help to know which way your windows face (depending on where you are in the world) because that can make a different to the quality of the light.

I definitely recommend trying a peace lily or a spider plant because they’re both pretty resilient. Spider plant babies (which hang off the side of the main plant) can just survive on moisture out of the air if they’re in a bathroom or kitchen which means they can be pretty much forgotten for months hahah
