hey dav! neat art. i was wondering if you had any more insight about your brain's permanent alteration with your psychedelic consumption (i thought the 'brain fry' thing was a myth but i suppose if you take anything in excess it can have long-lasting effects)? is it mostly a visual thing or do you experience auditory hallucinations/body feelings even when you're sober? if it's okay to ask

thank! the visuals are mainly when i’m staring at something; everything starts to shift and flow like during a trip. if i keep staring, my focus area will expand to my entire vision and i can see behind reality. there’s also a permanent lingering effect where my eyes and ears take in an unusually high amount of input, leaving less mental RAM to use for other things body-wise, it’s less that i get body sensations and more that my soul and body are separated. my body feels less like Me and more like a vessel I’m piloting; i can actually set it on autopilot and let it do complex tasks without me having to pay attention. i don’t think LSD alone is the cause tho. the very first trip i had was on an experimental strain of DET (a variant of DMT). very fine powder form; recommended dosage was half a bag sprinkled onto food. i snorted 2 bags in one go, and at the end of that my mind was irrevocably altered. all future acid experiences happened to that permanently altered consciousness, which i think is why i have trip-related effects and abilities that regular humans don’t seem to have.

how often do u do acid

as often as i can? it’s pretty rare to find it around here, so it’s p much luck of the draw. but, the amount of acid and LSA and DMT and DET I’ve done at once has permanently altered my brain to the point I can stare at something, and it’ll shift and glow like I’m on acid. weed will actively trigger it too. so I can p much look at stuff thru acid goggles anytime I want.
