Well this is awkward. Seems my joke post from yesterday went a little too far so I offer you an apology because it was actually not directed at you. I was simply being silly while trying to look a post a mutual sent me but I was blocked from by someone I'd never even heard of. Nothing meant to be taken seriously but I can see how it could come off that way.

Ah right I did forget the one singular time I expressed my opinion of disliking Resident Lover and that's the main reason people blocked me. I cannot imagine the injustice of the occupation and what it does to us every day. 100 people are killed in Gaza and today the American soldiers committed a massacre against my people. They closed the humanitarian aid area in Rafah and fired pepper gas at the people who were there. 20 martyrs fell and dozens were injured from suffocation. The American administration is openly and clearly complicit in the genocide in Gaza.

I adore the cruelty of it, but one could argue this is an act of love- not love for Annette so much as love surrounding her. Aren’t they sparing her from becoming like her mother, after all? Hortencia is not untalented nor unskilled, but she is very much ungrateful and too comfortable making it the problems of her peers. Wouldn’t it be so cruel to her, posthumously, to allow her daughter to walk that same path? Especially so given the shared histories of Annette’s mentors? Much to consider.
