“I said no! Several times over I told you no! How many more would it take? Do you not take no for an answer?!”

Leon had turned around to angrily look him in the eye as he yelled at him, not at all caring how close they were to each other. He felt ignored, and in that feeling it multiplied into feeling very hot and angry with him, to the verge of furious. His temper whipped unexpectedly like a breeze to an open flame.

Stan’s words begun to feel condescending and the tone of outright pitying him over nothing…. preposterous. All of this over what was Stan’s fault to begin with.

“Stop being a stubborn idiot and unhand me now.”

He refused to be put any further under the magnifying glass of blame of the day going wrong. If Stan followed him, he will be blamed, scolded, and put under scrutiny because of the blond man’s big mouth and inability to be logical for two minutes. He wasn’t in the mood for people to talk about his feelings, or his behaviors or how he should be, and he knows it’ll happen if Stan left them high and dry for him over nothing.

He can handle being alone, he was always alone and sometimes for moments like these he preferred it.

❝  ... !  ❞ No words were spoken for a few seconds, merely the noise around them smearing the silence that would’ve been more prominent if they were elsewhere. For that moment, his breathing is a tad more AUDIBLE, whilst he silently thanked the mess of hair that covers most of his eyes.  The seething ANGER had undoubtedly stung; but of course, he’s a man made of FLESH and not of steel or fire. Yet he understands that his attempts to help had gone off the tracks due to his OBLIVIOUSNESS, his DESPERATION to help. He had been told, after all, that at times his own goodwill can become a NOSY little brat. Not that it ever hindered his GENEROSITY. Why should he abandon it ? When it saved his friends ( whilst at times, failed ). Though it also cannot be denied that not always a hand reached out MUST BE accepted. This is merely one of those cases.  ❝  Alright.  ❞ His voice surprisingly lacks quivering, as though he -- too -- had been HARDENED by his own journey ( and he has nothing but thanks to that ). He rolls his shoulders briefly to release the tension, slap away all the racket in his head. Turning away, he ambles towards the opposite direction.

❝ Lady mile .. that sounds quite a peculiar name !  ❞ There was little to describe, other than it being obvious that the store catered to women. Perhaps a store focusing on one expertise would heightened its quality.
