On behalf of the Lexus Verses and Flow family,  we would like to thank you for your support over the last six seasons. It has been a journey from our first season, filmed in Atlanta, to the last five in Los Angeles, featuring very powerful and thriving music & poetry communities.  These communities stand on the shoulders of several individuals whose talents and passion far surpass anything we could have imagined when we began.

It is with great sadness, we announce that Lexus Verses and Flow has taken its final curtain call, and will no longer be on air or online.  We’d like to thank our hosts Hill Harper, Omari Hardwick, Laz Alonso and Dondré T. Whitfield for helping us champion the arts and provide a platform for the voices that often go unheard.

We hope to continue to support the poets and musical artists who graced our stage and gave our fans something to aspire to and be inspired by. Please continue to follow @VersesandFlow on Twitter for details on what is going on with the poets and music artists who have appeared on the show as well as others we didn’t have the pleasure to meet.

Our time may have been brief, but our impact was strong.

Michael “Chief” Peterson has graced the Lexus Verses and Flow stage twice. This year he’s back with a very special performance with his daughter Mia Julian, our youngest poet !

Rounding out season five and our overdrive clips, we bring you Prentice Powell, poet. 

Prentice joined us in season one and has appeared in every season of Lexus Verses and Flow since. He has performed solo, with the awesome collective Fiveology, alongside talented actors and influencers with Icon Mann, and this season he joined Michael “Chief” Peterson and the Legendary Black Ice.

The three performers burned up the stage on the finale, but let’s shift behind the scenes with him and  harlemink for a little Overdrive moment!
