“Do you want to get out of here?”

She nodded. And that was all it takes for the two to ditch the friends they came with and hopped on the next taxi they saw when they walked out of the bar.

She was tipsy. He probably was too. Her head was thinking too much. She needed to drink some more to do this. But she didn’t want to not remember this night because man, he was hot. And so, so beautiful.

“You’re good?” he asked as he gripped her shaky hands. The key just won’t go into the keyway. Why wouldn’t it go through?

She nodded, repeatedly. Somehow words didn’t want to fall from her mouth.

“Here, let me do it,” he said, grabbing the keys off of her trembling fingers.

The door was unlocked, successfully, thanks to him.

“Okay,” he let out a breath as the door behind them shut close. Did she mention to herself that this was a great, great specimen of a man?

“You’re still up for this?” Seonghwa asked as his hands caressed both sides of her cheeks. She shut her eyes and nodded quickly, multiple times.

“Relax,” he let his hands fell to her hips, placing a chaste kiss on her forehead. She still kept her eyes shut as she nodded again, letting out a shaky breath and trying to match her heartbeat to his.

“Hey,” he whispered, nibbling her ear. “I still need the yes, princess.”

“Oh, god,” she breathed out. “Yes, yes.”

“Good.”

[3:20 PM] seonghwa perks up at the sight of her. instantaneously, he raised up his hand to wave at her. she was looking around before she sees his bright smile. seonghwa looks as good looking as he is everyday and yet her heart still skips a beat. she flashes a smile back and starts to fasten her walking pace. “hi,” he greets. he is still wearing the bright smile. “let’s go,” he says as he takes her hand into his. she nods as she squeezes his warm hand. it still amazes her how her hand perfectly fits in his. they were walking along, side by side, under the canopy of cherry blossoms. seonghwa looks up in admiration as she looks to up to his face in almost the same manner of admiration. spring fits this man like a glove, is what she thought. when he sees how she was looking at him the whole time, he asks “what is it?” with an adoring laugh. she looks down sheepishly, knowing that she’s been caught in the act. she shakes her head as she tucks her hair behind her ears. “nothing,” she replies. “what do you mean, nothing?” he furrows his eyebrows. “your cheeks are as pink as the flower petals,” he comments as he crouches down to pick up a petal from the ground. “look at that, identical,” he says, chuckling as he holds the petal close to her right cheek. she laughs as she slaps his shoulder gently. to which he responds by pretending to get hurt and grimaces. “you are so annoying,” she says, laughing. “annoyingly good looking. yeah, i know,” he replies, winking. she takes a step back as she feels the butterflies in her stomach go crazy and her heartbeat, well, isn’t too cooperative either. he smiles smugly at the reaction she has. “you’re so cute,” he says, pulling her closer to his side, enveloping her in a hug. her heart isn’t calming down but that’s okay.

[10:39 PM] seonghwa pulls his hand away from hers relunctantly. she steps on the stairs, and then turns to face him. instead of having to look up to look him in the eyes, they’re almost at the same height, although not quite. he’s still pretty tall. “thank you for dropping me off,” she says, gesturing to her front door. “and thanks for dinner. i had fun.” “yeah, me too,” he replies, pressing his lips together, wearing a thin smile. she nods as she turns towards her front door. he sucks on his teeth as he reaches for her hand. “wait,” he says. she turns back around, wearing a curious expression. her eyes wandering about, looking for a clue in his face. he looks into her eyes, which was full of curiosity with a hint of worries. and he looks down, landing on her small lips. “seonghwa,” she calls out, breaking the silence. “what is it?” his eyes never leaves her lips. he pulls her hand, closing the distance between their bodies. another hand cups her cheek, his thumb brushes over her lips. they were small, and soft, but a little bit chapped. maybe it’s the cold night air. she steps down from the stairs. his gaze follows her lips. he leans down as she gets on her tiptoes. the distance between their faces are closing in. her hand clings over his arm, with another one holds around his waist. “may i?” he asks, his lips just inches from her own. she could feel his warm breaths on her face. for a moment, she thought she would never have to buy a heat pack ever again if he were to get this close to her every time she gets cold. she nods. he smiles before pecking her small lips with his full ones. and they fit perfectly, he thought. she freezes for a second, and he can feel that. so, he moves his mouth over hers and she mimics his movement when she realizes what’s going on, reciprocating his actions. both of them have their eyes closed. he furrows his eyebrows as he goes deeper and more passionately. she slides her hand into the locks of his hair, sharing the same passion. his hand snakes around the back of her neck. they can see each other’s warm breaths in the cold air when they finally pull away from each other. he breathes in deeply as he pressed their foreheads together. “wow,” she gasped. “that was — wow,” her voice sounds hoarse and raspy. almost as if she’s thirsty or just wake up. “you sound so sexy right now,” he chuckles before pulling in for another kiss.
