A lot of my English comes from Jane austen novels so when I had to explain a bad review / rating by a customer to the higher ups I could only think to write that she was demure and did not communicate her displeasure...

The thing is you read too much 19th century Brit Lit and that's literally just how you start to talk. Was speaking with a friend about another friend and I said "he's very agreeable, but he lacks discernment" like that was in any way a normal way to phrase that sentiment.

the funny thing abt tomgreg is that tom is a very complex character but i can totally understand how he feels abt greg but greg seems pretty simple but i have absolutely zero idea as to how he feels about tom

Spencer Finch - 366, Emily Dickinson’s Miraculous Year (2009)

This work is based on Emily Dickinson in 1862, when she wrote 366 poems in 365 days. It is a real-time memorial to that year, which burns for exactly one year. The sculpture is comprised of 366 individual candles arranged in a linear sequence, each of which burns for 24 hours. The colour of each candle matches a colour mentioned in the corresponding poem. For the poems in which no colour is mentioned, the candles are made out of natural paraffin.
