To think you were once the most important person in my life... and now you’ll never ever see my future. Family are always the ones to teach you the lesson, that not all people can be trusted — even if they are related to you by blood. Blood may be thicker than water, but betrayal, lies, mind games, verbal and mental abuse can turn you away from anyone who lays a single finger on you. Imagine not being able to sleep because of something someone else said to put you down.

- now imagine that person is the person who is also supposed to be somebody you can trust, who “supports” you and just “wants the best” for you.

- let’s just say, I would not put you out if you were on fire.

The very worst part is just when you think you’ve gotten past it, it starts all over again.

By remembering that day, somehow, impossibly... it won’t hurt this way. It won’t hurt this much.

hard pill to swallow: there are some things that are not meant for you. you will meet people that are not willing to stay. there will be times that you will fail. but don’t be discouraged because alongside, you are meant to be something, you will meet people that will stay, and most importantly, you will get better.
