GAREN – THE MIGHT OF DEMACIA
Garen is naturally tanky, his W giving him bonus defensive stats. His passive, Perseverance, allows him to regenerate health much faster than other champions, which means you can stay in the lane longer. But he can also put out a lot of damage, especially if you’re able to chain your offensive abilities together.
Q – Decisive Strike: Decisive Strike is basically a really big smack with Garen’s really big sword. So big, in fact, it silences enemy champions, stopping them from being able to cast spells for a few moments, giving you an advantage in duels. Decisive Strike also removes all slows from Garen and speeds him up for a few seconds, so it’s quite useful for getting out of a tricky situation.
W – Courage: Passively gains armor and magic resist every time you kill a unit, making Garen’s W worth around 600 gold in stat bonuses. When activated, it reduces incoming damage, and allows Garen to escape from stuns and snares faster than normal.
E – Judgement: Garen spins very fast, dealing damage to everyone nearby up to ten times. Useful for dueling as enemies find it difficult to escape, and also for killing large groups of minions quickly.
R – Demacian Justice: Garen brings a sword down on his opponent, dealing extra damage for all the health they’re missing – a few characters use this ‘Execute’ technique, but none so powerfully as Garen. It’s good at teaching you to wait until the right moment to use your ultimate, as it won’t do much damage if you use it too early.
Garen’s innate tankiness makes him a good champion to help you learn to navigate the often-isolated top lane. He struggles against ranged champions, but if you manage his skills well he can hold his own against most melee champions. There aren’t many characters in League of Legends who can withstand the repeated use of Decisive Strike and Judgement, and it doesn’t take long to whittle your opponents down to a point where you can finish them off with your ultimate.
If things aren’t going your way then make use of your defensive capabilities. Garen has the ability to gain defensive stats passively, and the fact that he automatically builds armor and magic resistance helps him out against anyone he might come up against. If you find yourself losing fights, you also have lots of potential escape routes. Using your E discourages people from getting too close, and using your Q lets you put some distance between you and your enemies. Your W boosts your defenses for six seconds, also helping you escape. Once you’re safe, Garen’s health regeneration is one of the highest in the game, so stay out of trouble for a while and you’ll quickly be back to full health.
When it comes to items, there are two that are perfect for Garen. Sunfire cape deals magic damage to enemies around you every second, and The Black Cleaver lowers your opponent’s armor by up to 24%. These both synergize perfectly with Garen’s E, and are crucial items for almost any build.

WHAT ROLE SHOULD YOU PLAY?
All of them! There’s so much choice in League of Legends that the best way to play is to experiment with as much as possible. Different roles, different champions, different builds. You’ll soon find out which play styles you click with. Sticking with a single character is a surefire way to get stuck in a rut. Plus, it’s a great way to become enraged should your only main get banned out in champ select.
Top tip: Sometimes you’ll find that you have difficulties when faced against a specific champion time and time again. You don’t understand how they work and they’re consistently getting the best of you. When that happens, try playing as that League of Legends champion. Doing so will give you insight into their abilities and play style, so you’ll know what to expect when you face them next time.
The most important thing is to have fun. If you’re not, then you should try changing something up. Sometimes playing a different champion can feel like you’re playing a totally new game.

WHAT ARE ROLES IN LEAGUE OF LEGENDS?
On League of Legends’ main map, Summoner’s Rift, there are five main roles, all of which play very differently. These are based on your physical location in the map, whether that’s in the top lane (‘top’), middle lane (referred to simply as ‘mid’), bottom lane (‘bot’) or jungle.
But that’s only four roles, surely? Well spotted. For various reasons, the bot lane is home to two players, rather than just one. One of these is called the AD Carry (short for Attack Damage Carry), and the idea behind this guy is that they’ll eventually carry the team to victory using their overwhelming attack damage. In order to do this, however, they first need to be protected through the early game in order to level up and buy the items needed to hit their power spikes.
Which is why the AD Carry is always joined in the bot lane by the support. This is the only character on the Rift whose job isn’t to murder people, but to set up kills for the AD Carry and keep them protected and well fed so they can get strong as soon as possible. This allows the AD Carry to last hit minions and farm gold, knowing that the support has their back should anything untoward happen.
The Summoner Spells most commonly used with these roles reflects this.
Flash is a spell that almost everyone uses. It’s an instant blink teleport that can quickly get you out of trouble, or get your enemy into trouble by closing the gap between you. It has a long cooldown so use it wisely.
The AD Carry will almost always take Heal, too. Their biggest job in the early game is to stay alive and not let the enemy AD Carry kill them because that will feed them gold and hasten their ascent to power. Heal gives you a burst of healing (obviously), but also dramatically increases your movement speed for a short period, allowing you to hopefully maneuver away from danger.
Meanwhile, the support will take Exhaust, which does basically the opposite. It lowers an enemy’s movement speed to a crawl and drops their defensive stats, attack speed, and damage output significantly. Use this to slow an escaping enemy or to turn a losing battle into a victory.
While the AD Carry and support buddy up in bot lane, on the other side of the Rift the top lane can feel like a lonely place, far from the action. It’s here that the top laner bruisers live. Tanky melee fighters who can give a beating as well as take one.
Because of its secluded location, top laners tend to take Teleport as their secondary Summoner Spell alongside Flash. This allows them to jump into team fights anywhere on the map at a moment’s notice, lending some front-line damage output and acting as a meat shield. Or just to go in search of a friend should they feel too isolated.
In the mid lane, you’ll meet the mid laner mages. Spell slingers with high damage output that comes from accumulating large Ability Power stats, which increases the potency of their skills.
The most common Summoner Spell for mid laners, alongside Flash, is Ignite. This deals burn damage over time, which is handy if you get into a scrap with your lane opponent and they manage to sneak away with not much health. There are few things more satisfying than watching an ignited player scurry under their tower to safety, only to die to the inevitable ticking of Ignite’s damage.
For mid laners who are less interested in playing aggressively, Teleport is a decent alternative to Ignite. Some mages do scary amounts of damage and can jump in and out of combat nimbly, so suddenly having them Teleport into your lane can be unnerving at best and terminal at worst.
Finally, the jungler lives in the spaces between lanes, where neutral monsters roam. Their job is to hide away in the shadows, farming money from the Rift’s more aggressive fauna and jumping out to surprise enemies in each of the three lanes. This is called ganking. There are also some neutral objectives that the jungler is expected to keep under their control.
Each side of the jungle has a blue buff and a red buff – these are large monsters that grant you temporary boosts when you kill them. Blue buff grants cooldown reduction for your abilities increased MP regeneration and additional Ability Power. While the red buff slows enemies hit by your basic attacks, as well as deals additional damage over time to them. It also heals you if you stay out of combat. They’re pretty powerful buffs so make sure you use them.
As a jungler, you’ll need to take Smite as a Summoner’s Spell, otherwise, you’re going to have a really hard time. That and Flash should sort you out.
As with all of this, there are exceptions to every rule, but consider this a solid groundwork on which to build more specialist knowledge as you play.

For Noobs
League of Legends’ champions is a confusing bunch, especially if you’re a new player. The Summoner’s Rift map can be a daunting place for those starting out on their MOBA journeys, especially when you find yourself dying over and over. With over 130 champions in the game, the freedom of choice can feel overwhelming. It’s going to take time to get to grips with how every champion plays, how they work together, and how to play against them. Luckily, the best way to learn all of this is to play the game and have fun!
To begin with, it is best to get to grips with the core concepts of the game. Play through League of Legends’ basic training and get familiar with the broader concepts such as minion waves, towers, skills, and items. Armed with this knowledge you’re now ready to start experimenting and finding the League of Legends champions that click with you.
To help you, we’ve put together a list of characters that are considered both strong and newbie friendly, from across all of LoL’s main disciplines: fighters, tanks, mages, supports, marksmen, and assassins. Each champion has a specific area of the map they are best suited to – the top, middle, or bottom lane, or the jungle – and so we’ve split them into these relevant categories.
The best League of Legends champions are:
Garen
Nasus
Shyvana
Volibear
Annie
Morgana
Caitlyn
Ashe
Leona
Janna

Ranked Queue: Why You Should Be Abusing It Right Now!
Ranked Queue: Why You Should Be Abusing It Right NowIf you want to reach your dream division, hear us out till the end!
It's almost that time of the year in League where it's almost-almost the end of the season. A time where the End-of season rewards seem pretty far away, but so is that dream division of yours. Well, fret not! We've already established one part of what you need to do now, but let us first explain why you really should be hitting that "Ranked Queue" button right as much as you can during this period.
Here are some of the reasons why you should be playing ranked right now, and some explanation on why you should heed our advice. Just as Shia LaBeouf says - "JUST DO IT!"
Start early, finish early. Don't procrastinate!
Sweet and simple, it's best to start right now. If you start late and go on tilt, you might not be able to hit the goal you set by the deadline. If that happens, you're gonna have a bad time. Plus, that's the pressure of getting that near to the deadline might work against you and you might end up getting more demotions than promotions. You have plenty of time to start playing ranked RIGHT NOW, at this stage of the season, so try not to procrastinate.
That being said, we have all reached a point in our League life where playing normals and even ranked sometimes can feel like a chore. Time is precious, so try not to waste it by working toward your goal earlier rather than later.
New meta-setter wannabes are amok
We've all come across players like that in ranked. Especially at this stage of the season where so much game balancing is taking place. Players are trying really wonky builds and trying to set a new meta. You'd be lucky if you come across these guys as your opponents, but vice versa if you meet them on your team.
Some of these meta picks and builds might actually work pretty well, so try to get yourself up-to-date with these strange picks and builds and work your way around them if you play against it, or work with them if you meet them on your team. Quinn top, we're looking at you!
Most players don't take ranked seriously at this point of the season
As mentioned before, playing queuing up for normals might seem a bit too boring for some people, so what do they do? They play ranked, of course! In such cases, these players might not be taking ranked play as seriously since they're only playing it for the sake of playing. They probably think they have all the time in the world to get to their desired rank by the end of the season, so they don't try as hard as they normally would.
Take advantage of this and put on your tryhard cap, play to the best of your ability, take every loss seriously, and you should definitely be able to climb above all these chilled-out players who aren't giving it their all.
Playing now would keep you ahead of all the "kids" and procrastinators
You want to stay ahead of the school vacations, because when time's up, the floodgates will open and boy, I don't think you'll enjoy playing them. This "downtime" is perfect for you to start your grind because you might have more pleasant and less "ragey" games. You meet less Tyler1 fans, and that's definitely a good thing, right? Because most of his fanbase is a bunch of immature, whiney, flame baiting children.
Lazy procrastinators, however, might actually contain some of the best players in the game. They are just that confident that they'll be able to get to the rank they need to be at by the end of the season, so what do they do? Sit around watching streams, playing normals with chicks all day, until it's crunch time. Best to get started early so you don't have to meet these fellas.
Don't play ranked during the peak of the seasons! We can't stress this enough.
It's the calm before the storm
Reaching your dream division isn't going to be a walk in the part. Of course, we can advise you when a good time is to play ranked, but at the end of the day, it still depends on how well you play and how well you can keep your sass and attitude in check. You need to be determined, you need to lead your team to victory, maybe throw in a couple of bribes here and there, but you have to really want it in order to get there!
When the season starts getting closer to the peak period, there's going to be a lot of rush and tension in every game. With so much on the line and so little time left, you can bet your life that almost every game you play will be filled with flame and toxicity. That's the League of Legends community that I know and love, all the same, so try to get there before the storm hits.

There’s no ME in TEAM unless...
There’s no ME in TEAM unless you are a hardcore hyper carry and your LP depends on it sometimes you have to carry the team. sometimes your fighting more with your team than your enemy. FeedEDITCOMMENTS (44)SHARE"Go ahead! I like moving targets." It has been suggested that this article or section be merged into League of Legends terminology. Please discuss this here.Feeding is the act of being killed repeatedly, and thereby assisting the enemy team.Contents[show]Active Feeding (feeder)If a champion gets killed repeatedly, he brings more disadvantage to his team than a summoner who leaves the game or does nothing at all. It commonly occurs when a player wishes to defeat an enemy champion, but fails over a few attempts - failing to time the attack when rushing the enemy, getting hit by turrets, ignoring minion damage, etc. This way, player actively "feeds" the enemy champion with experience (used for level ups) and gold (used to purchase items). Over a few failed attempts, the enemy champion becomes so powerful, that the player who "fed" him, simply cannot overpower the enemy, thus putting the rest of the team in jeopardy from being slain by the "fed" champion.Passive Feeding (being fed)Feeding can also be a passive act. If several players die to one champion, it will gather high amounts of gold, the fed champion will more likely be able to defeat single champions in the future. A champion is considered to be "fed" as soon as his potential to be useful in game and to score kills is obviously significantly higher than any other champions. This can occur independently from a high champion kill-to-death ratio, as minion and monsterkills also generate gold. marksmen (ADCs - Attack Damage Carries) and mages (APCs - Ability Power Carries) profit most from being fed, since their strength in game massively depends on the items they have.Motives/GriefingFeeders do not necessarily assist the enemy team intentionally. Players who are new to the game and thereby lack experience tend to die more often and more easily to skilled players. Feeding is also a vicious circle. Every time he kills, the killer gets stronger and is thereby even harder to defeat next time. This may result in a spiral downwards where the gap between the champion levels and equipment becomes wider with each kill, and thereby diminishes the chances of the killed champion to get back on the level of the other champions.Besides non-intentional feeders, there are also Griefers. Griefers are intentional feeders who die on purpose in order to actively feed the enemy team. They either do it in order to speed up the game's process if they do not see any chance to win anymore and the surrender vote failed, or simply to ruin other player's games. Griefers usually lead their team to defeat, as the enemy team will be given a hefty advantage. Griefing is reportable.Destructive criticism towards new players is against the Summoner's Code, but still a very common way to react to any kind of feeding. Though it surely is frustrating to have a new player who feeds the enemy team, ranting at them does not help and is considered bad mannered.Role or Grief

keep demoting and it sucks. I am pretty upset because my wifi would cut mid game causing me to die and eventually lose. This really sucks because the season is ending in like 24 hrs and I would really like to climb out of bronze but every time I get close I always end up dropping back down. If you check out Mateo Espinosa's blog from a couple weeks ago @ Everything ESports by Mateo. Yeah, go check it out Mateo a real one. Anyways everytime it seems that I get good and I am about to promote a division… I lose like five games and then I drop. Apparently, I had a drop protection but I guess I sucked so much it did not help. SO, unfortunately, guys I am currently struggling to win games even though i carry so hard my back hurts. If you check out some of my recent games @ op,gg,com and search up my username SleepingMako1337, you can see how badly I suck sometimes to the days i dominate. Also if you are interested, go follow my league account on Instagram, @ weeabooo7 XD. I am hoping to eventually get good and one day capture all the pokemon and be a master… oh wait, wrong game… I meant I hope one day i can master league of legends and become one of the players. Next season i hope to end in at least Gold 3 but we will see. GLHF AND PLEASE DONT FEED

why do I even play this game
With the new year, many players are preparing for the new season. With that, I’ve been mastering one of my favorite champs of all time. His name is Lucian. He is very mobile and dodges easily while doing a crap ton of damage both early and late game. He is a duel wielded ranged gunner allowing him to fight well both in a 1v1 and team fight, He is good for chasing down enemies or running away to save your life. Sometimes I like to challenge toxic players ( WHICH THERE ARE A LOT OUT THERE) to a 1v1. Most of the time they end up chickening out but when they do accept I kick their butts...for the most part. The best part about Lucian is that he can literally shred everyone. Unfortunately, I have played Lucian too much that I forgot how to play other ADC champs.
Another thing is... I recently started playing on a smurf account so playing with noobs can be very fun... unless you go up against other smurfs and have all the noobs on your team. This is the main reason I started to play Lucian. He was so strong and most beginners didn’t even know how to counter him. Unfortunately, when he gets banned the game isn’t as fun and I tend to give up.

2018 Worlds Finale
The Season is finally at an end with the closing of the 2018 worlds finale. Apparently, it was all talk for Fnatic because they entered the match a bit cocky thinking that since they beat them before they can do it again. Unfortunately, the so-called kings of the West were defeated... a clean sweep in fact! Invictious Gaming aka IG from China destroyed them winning the series 3-0. Just like the LA Dodger... Fnatic made it to the finals but ate crap in the end.
Some of the highlights of the opening ceremony is the KDA KPOP girls group with new skins featuring Akali, Ahri, Kai-sa, and Evelyn. The new song made a huge hit and RIOT has made a ton of money off the new skins with only 2 days of the release. Some might say RIOT has so much money they dont know what to do with it.
With the season to a close, the final rankings will end on Nov 12th so better rank up now. Unfortunately for me, i only taste defeat no matter how hard I try. In one of my previous blogs I talked about how i dropped a few tiers. Well turns out I dropped an entire rank from Sliver to Bronze. It sucks yes I know but its ok. Next Season Im going to PROVE MYSELF AND RISE!

C9 is dead
In the latest esports even, Cloud9 and Fnatic went head to head in the semi finals battling for the final spot in the 2018 Worlds finals. With season 8 coming to an end Cloud9 made history for North America by representing NA in their first appearance in the SemiFinals. Unfortunately they were not strong enough and in my opinion, not fully prepared to face their opponent Fnatic, As the stats show that Fnatic was the kings of the west and were truly the better team early this morning. Although C9 had some good plays and and were able to withstand some team fights, Fnatic would always prevail as they made a clean sweep 3-0. It was very unfortunate for C9 since their adc mains were banned by Fnatic forcing the adc of C9 to play champions he rarely plays. Also in the jg & mid laners, Fnatic always had the advantage and were the smarter play makers in the early game fights. While Fnatic were racking up kills C9 would only fall into traps and basically give free kills. Since invictious Gaming defeated G2 it all comes down to Fnatic vs Ig in the finals.

C9 on the road to Victory
As tension has been rising between gamers and esports team due to the fact that the championships of League of Legends Worlds 2018 is just a few weeks away. Who will make it? 4 teams left, one trophy. The remaining teams are C9(Cloud 9), Fnatic, G2(G2 Esports), and IG(Invictus Gaming). The most surprising thing about this outcome is that the NA team C9 will be taking part in the semi finals. This surprised most people since every year the NA teams get crushed by the Koreans however in the recent battles between the Korean team Afreeca Freecs ended in C9′s favor with the final score being 3-0. This gave hope for NA to win the championships. Although it was a great accomplishment for NA, C9 has two more teams to get through before they can celebrate. Their next challenge is Fnatic, a team from Europe who also defeated the Chinese team Edward Gaming with a final score 3-1. If C9 manages to beat Fnatic then they will advanced into the finals. The other two remaining teams fighting for their spot will be G2 vs IG. The winner of this match with either face C9 or Fnatic. 4 Teams 1 Trophy. The game between IG and G2 is scheduled for October 27th and Fnatic vs C9 will be on the 28th. Will C9 be able to go home champions or will they be crushed in the attempt of trying. Only time will tell

WORLDS 2018
Game 1: Vitality 1, Royal Never Give Up 0
Team Vitality turned Group B on its head early when it upset tournament favorite Royal Never Give Up in decisive fashion during the second round robin at the 2018 League of Legends World Championship in Busan, South Korea.
On the train to Busan with Cloud9
As North American League of Legends team Cloud9 traveled from Seoul, South Korea, to Busan from the play-in stage to groups at the world championship, ESPN esports tagged along for the ride.
When these two teams first met, Royal Never Give Up had the European side just as figured out as it did the other super-aggressive teams in the LPL. AD carry Jian "Uzi" Zi-Hao's Tristana carried Royal to a swift victory in that game, looking a cut above Vitality.
The rematch started in much the same way, as RNG jungler Hung "Karsa" Hau-Hsuan did an excellent job keeping Vitality's early game from snowballing out of control -- especially relevant considering VIT AD Carry Amadeu "Attila" Carvalho's Draven pick. Karsa's stifling control of the map in the early game was so effective that it forced Vitality to make a hail mary play in the top lane, diving RNG top laner Yan "LetMe" Jun-Ze's Ornn with nearly the entire team, finding the crucial first kill onto their Draven in the process.
Vitality wasn't content to sit on its lead, however, and what followed was the European representative going on a merciless hunt for LetMe wherever he appeared, which brought Atilla from an unimpressive one kill to five. RNG responded in typical fashion, by team fighting but, unfortunately, Uzi was incapable of matching the speed at which Attila shredded through RNG's frontline. In desperation, Karsa forced a last-ditch engage that was immediately countered by a sublime Death Sentence from Vitality support Jakub "Jactroll" Skurzynski's Thresh, spelling the end for RNG in this game, and Vitality took a crucial win as it stayed alive in the Group B hunt.

Learning the Jungle
In my opinion, Jungling in League is one of the hardest roles to play. It took a lot of practice and a lot of losing. There are multiple ways to play jungle. It also depends on which side of the map you start on. The first jungle game I played a champion named NUNU and Whillump. I talked about him in my first blog posts. Nunu is fairly easy to play making the process of mastering the jungle easier. How I usually play, if my team starts at the top of the map, I go to what is called the bot side jungle. I grab the blue buff then gromp. After I get the scuttle and then head for the top side of my jungle. Then I take the Red buff, top side scuttle, then raptors. Then I recall. Then I take wolves then dragon. It all depends on the champion you play through. Sometimes the order of the camps you take changes since some champions can’t do as much early game. The key to winning the jungle is my continuously taking camps and then helping out your team in the lane by ganking. A gank is where you enter a lane and help your ally kill an enemy. A good jungler always has his eye on the map and has a ton of wards for vision throughout the jungle and bushes. This allows your team to locate the enemies and sneak up on them. Another key to be a successful jungler is to keep track of your camps. After you take a camp, a timer will appear. When the timer runs out your camp has respwaned and is free to take. This is how a jungler farms compared to being in the lane.

Losing to Grinding
`For the past few days I have been on a very bad losing streak. I started off my first game on Friday night going strong. I decided to go attack damage carrier in bot lane so I chose the champion Jinx. I was winning the lane and even got the first kill. However it all went downhill from there. Jinx is a very strange champion but fun to play. She has the personality of harley quinn but instead of a baseball bat she carries around a minigun that has amazing attack speed and has far range on it. Her other weapon is a cannon that shoots out shark missiles. This weapon is slower than the minigun ofcourse but does area damage meaning it damages multiple enemies close by each other which is very good for tram fights. Jinx has special abilities that could snare enemies or even root them where they cant move. Her Ultimate can launch a massive death rocket that flies across the map dealing area damage when hitting an enemy. This is good for killing really low champions who are far to reach. Unfortunately I had a bad team who kept feeding. In the end we surrendered with a team score of 25 kills and 48 deaths. My personal score was 14 kills 18 deaths and 6 assists. The next game i played I went jungle. I played the champion Xin Zhao. I did not do so good this game because I had a bad start in the jg at 0/2 with 5 minutes in/ From that game on I continued to do bad but I wanted to win so bad I kept playing. Eventually I demoted in rank from Silver 3 to Silver 4. I was very upset so I continued playing to try to win. Unfortunately I continued to lose. Until today that is. Thirty Minutes ago I played my first game of the day, I started off pretty bad in lane however I had a really good team and I was able to come back. I felt accomplished. I learned that sometimes… you just gotta play it safe and don't be greedy, Now I am on a five game win streak hoping to promote from rank Silver 4 back to Silver 3. The season is almost over so I can’t afford to demote. My cousin and some friends i play with are teaming up with me to help me win more games to make up for the ones I lost. The world championships are coming up soon… one day I hope to be able to play on a team. For now I am cheering for team Cloud 9. For they are a team of North America,

Patch notes 8.18
LoL Patch 8.18 Skins
In the latest patch note of league of legends, 8.18 brings us the first wave of changes focused on the World Championship later this year. In some cases, this means reining in outliers who are dominating pick-ban (as well as champs likely to take over once those outliers are addressed). Other times, it means buffing champs who are on the cusp of consideration—picks we nerfed earlier in the season, in a few cases. 8.19 will contain another round of these changes.
Odyssey is a brand-new event coming to League of Legends in patch 8.18. As well as introducing a brand-new skin line, there’ll be a new PvE game mode, Extraction, as Jinx, Malphite, Yasuo, and Sona work against Kayn (who’s getting a new Legendary skin) to save Ziggs.
At the moment, we don’t know how Extraction will play out, but we do know what most of the new skins will look like, thanks to the new Odyssey trailer. Check it out below:

Nunu and Willump (the Boy and his Yeti) In the latest patch note 8.17, a well known but reworked champion was released. The champion involves two characters, Nunu and a Yeti Willump. Nunu and Willump work together, seeking adventure wherever they go. Especially when it comes to snow. They love to make gigantic snoballs and have epic snowball fights. Although they get along just fine, why is it that a young boy was practically raised by this Yeti. It all began when Nunu was around the age of five. Nunu lived in a nomadic tribe who traveled from village to village. While traveling his mom would sing beautiful songs that taught him about ancient warriors. One day the village was attacked and nunu was forever separated from his mom. Not knowing where his mom was, Nunu was kept in a camp where we was trained to be a warrior but the leaders did not think he was capable. In fact, the did not think any of the child refugees were capable at all. One day Nunu overheard the captain saying something about how she wanted to rid the world of this tragic beast who destroyed anything on sight. It was snowing and it was freezing, but that did not stop Nunu from trying. He hunted down the beast, attempting to kill it. However, Nunu realized something. Something that no one else has ever known. The beast was a yeti who was just trying to make a friend and have snowball fights. When Nunu realized this. He decided to befriend the Yeti and from that point on they lived happily ever after, building epic snow forts, having epic snowball fights, ceasing the day as if were the last. The adventure never ends when your best friend is a Yeti. https://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/featured/champion-reveal-nunu-willump In the rework of Nunu, the new champion really shows a more meaningful relationship between Nunu and his Yeti WHillump. Especially when using abilities. Nunu has five abilities in total, one passive and four active. His passive increases not only his but the damage and movement speed of both him and an allie when attack large enemies. His first active ability placed under the Q key, is called Consume. Using this ability allows Willump to attack the enemy especially eating small enemies like minions or certain jungle camps and killing them instantly.or taking a huge bite on large enemies like enemy champions. Doing so deals true damage to monsters or magic damage to champions. This ability also heals Nunu. The next ability, placed under the W key, is called the Greatest Snowball Ever. This ability allows Willump to roll a snowball. While holding down the W key the snowball will grow in size and speed. The bigger the snowball mean the greater the damage. When a snowball hits an enemy, the enemy will me knocked up into the air also doing damage. If you reactivate the ability by pressing the W key again or simply letting go after holding it, the snowball will be released and roll for a short period of time in the direction you pushed it in. The next ability, placed under the E key, named Snowball barrage. This allows Nunu to throw three volleys of snowballs for a short period of time. Enemies hit by all three snowballs will be slowed. This ability can be activated three times before it having to cool down or refresh. After the ability is used Nunu freezes enemies close by to him. Nunu’s final ability, placed under the R key is his ult. This is called Absolute Zero. Using this ability absorbs heat around it slowing down enemies in range and gives a shield as it channels. Channeling the ability will allow it to do more damage.
