Inspired by a conversation I had in the DMs last night, I wanted to shout on the fact that Travis consistently builds his characters with personality traits that interact in fun ways with the classes they were built as.

Grog is a barbarian and he loves drinking and brawling, but he also has lines he won't cross when it comes to hurting innocents (which is what got him exiled from the Herd of Storms). He also, as he councils Keyleth, sees rage as a good and useful tool for accomplishing goals, but one that must be used at the right moment or it risks becoming a liability.

Fjord starts as a warlock (though as a man of deep conviction and a set moral code that guides his actions he also has a deeply paladin personality, but he wasn't built as such), he also holds the belief that one should always uphold their obligations and agreements. You can see this in the conversation he has with Dolan and Horris in episode 13. He stops them from running away from what they started because they have an obligation to the people they started doing this for to see these things through.

Chetney is a bloodhunter, specifically an Order of the Lycan bloodhunter, and he's a man who spent centuries feeling insignificant and small and unable to have a major impact on the world, so when he contracts lycanthropy, he revels in the chance to have that power. But at the same time, he doesn't want to hurt anybody and is terrified enough of the prospect of hurting children specifically that the Dominox taunts him with it, so he also embraces the control being a bloodhunter gives him over his transforms. Notably, he starts the campaign seeking out the Gorgynei to learn more about his condition and how to control it.
