This is part one of the Redemption comic!

I wrote this moment from the very beginning of the AU and I couldn’t wait to get to it!

This is how Macaque’s character growth and change of heart comes to its highest point.

This is the moment the monkey knew he was in too deep and he didn’t care.

After the whole fiasco of MK turning into a giant monkey again, it took some time before Wukong and Macaque sat down to come up with a plan to get the scroll they needed from Hundun.

The plan was to distract Hundun for as long as possible while MK sneaks inside the demon’s lair and looks for the scroll. A simple plan that would have worked if Macaque knew about Hundun’s defenses.

I have to draw a lot of gold and metal for my work, but wasn't happy with any of the metal tutorials i could find around. I prefer really specific instruction, so after some research i put together what i think works as a generalist's guide/tutorial. Not perfectly accurate, but i hope it's helpful!

Rest in peace Kenpachiro Satstuma (1947-2023)

Since godzilla minus one is having a huge impact all over the world, I thought I'd make a tribute to one of the amazing actors/stuntman who worked on the godzilla saga.

Kenpachiro Satstuma wore the suit from 1984 to 1995 during the Heisei Era. Many fans got introduced to godzilla thanks to his work. He also worked during the 70's as antagonists kaijus. I got into the godzilla saga when i was 8 yo thanks to godzilla vs destroyah (1995) and many others. Kenpachiro 's work means a lot to me since it's part of my childhood. If you are curious feel free to learn more about him and see how difficult it can be to wear these heavy suits.

Higher than the Sky is an ‘art of’ book format that illustrates the story of the Chinese tale: the Monkey King. We tried to focus on how a character can start from being innocent and end up to be someone with so much hate and destruction; rather than just showing the typical mischievous monkey.

We are still debating on selling this or not… if its going to happen it will be around after April 2016 since we are both so busy with wrapping up with school. Thank you so much for all who showed interest in this project! You guys are the best ;D
