A lil bit of Demon season for 3am AU

Celestial primates aren’t affected as much since they’re some weird in between of celestial beings and demons lol, so the monkeys can gets some instincts during it but they’re just vibing during most of it

Still don’t mean they don’t get suitors during that time, it’s very lucky for them that they live in an isolated island

These events take place some time after Xiaoxing was born, actually the first time Macaque was out in society since then, and what a way to be welcomed back, mans was just trying to go grocery shopping fr😭😭😭

(Little more comic lore below:

Demon season is a time when people with demon descent are more influenced by their instincts and new relationships are established,,, people go out and following instincts, try and pursue people of higher status and power, and that can be felt through a demons magical presence. So when Macaque went out to a village’s plaza and was walking around alone, demons in the area took notice of this very powerful ancient demon (although during the time he was weakened, people can still feel the power within him) and were immediately attracted to him. They could also tell that he had just had a child which is why a lot of them were hesitant to approach the guy, until this youngling just walked up to him and started the whole charade.

Could Macaque have said no? Definitely. The problem is that a lot of the season is about power, so being able to beat your pursuer and reject them is much more effective than going ‘no’ in this situation, it’s kinda like a pride and honor thing, especially in such a public space. Macaque though wasn’t really that confident to engage in a fight with the guy especially if it gave others the idea to challenge him right after, so he pulled out his secret weapon: Wukong. Who would, by mere presence, deescalate the situation immediately.)

(In case you’re wondering, Macaque called for his mate, and Wukong responded immediately) (And this is right after Xiaoxing was born, they are not beating the allegations)

These two love their parents and Mei-Yue is definitely a daddy's girl when it comes to Wukong, but if Macaque isn't around and there's a toy that look like him she'll want it. But it's Yan Hao's toy so she's out of luck.

I decided to make a sketch comic about my OC born at the beginning of my hyper fixation on monkeys, somewhere in August. I hope it doesn't look too cringe, at least I tried.

In short, this is a continuation of my sketches of Wukong with Macaque, I still haven't come up with a name for the AU, and I haven't really come up with a plot, I'm too lazy :,)

As for the actions happening in the sketches, when Yuichen (Yichen) was born, Macaque was grateful to fate that she looked more like him than Wukong and would not attract the attention of heaven. However, Macaque did not expect that she would be a very hyperactive child.

By the way, here is her first sketch. And yes, her original name was Yichen, it just so happened that it turned into Yuichen. So in fact, she probably has two names, because I haven't decided.

This WONT be the last drawing I do for this comic by far. BUT! It's good to put an end to a whole story first. Macaque doesn’t deal with his own suitors because he barely leaves the island so no one knows him, but the times he does leave the island everyone learned from the first experience and now Wukong follows him around and scares everyone away😭 (he’s totally not jealous, definitely not)

Also yeah Macaque definitely heard anytime a suitor would step on the island and immediately portals them out in the middle of the ocean, he only stopped when Wukong finally realized suitors were arriving to his island and went to take care of them (definitely not jealous no way)

Shadowpeach Idea, when Wukong and Macaque first met, it's similar to how Emett + Wildstyle met in the Lego Movie:

(Macaque is wearing a hood, while picking fruit...)

Wukong: Hey, what are you doing here?... I SAID, what are-

(In that moment the hooded figure removes its hood to reveal a beautiful Macaque, Wukong suddenly gets is frozen on the spot by his beauty!)

Wukong: -youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu....

(Macaque gets fed up and makes a run for it!)

Wukong: Where are you going?! Buddy, I didn't mean to scare you! I'm sorry! 😍
