I wanna expand on what I mean by "their deaths are do different" here really quick
I love to contrast so much because Nastya's death is slow and purposeful, it's cold and tender and she's completely alone at the end. No one knows exactly where she died or where her body is now or anything past when she stepped out of the airlock. No one got to see her last moments and if she had gotten her way, Aurora would've been the only one to know she left.
Jonny on the other hand, he dies violent and suddenly in an unpredictable bar. one fight, one stab out of countless others goes him in. And he laughs. He's been desperate for this for so long and had no way to know when it would happen or how he soon it was. So he bled out in a nowhere bar, beaten and bloody, laughing like a madman with sheer excitement and relief, surrounded by strangers who probably stared at him in bewilderment as he collapsed, more alone than ever, and so fucking excited to never get up again.
