They sleep while they eat, and it lasts for a few months, I think. When they get full and wake up, they migrate to a new spot and do it all over again. :)
What do the zakru eat?

There's a lot more customization than you might think, some of it you just have to earn from quests, find by exploring, craft, or buy from npcs. I love FoP.
I know i complained not long ago about the lack of customization for that game but i still want to get afop so baaaaad.....
I hope it goes on sale even just a bit during steam summer sale cause that game is costing a kidney </3

Finally did the first page in my Avatar scrapbook, featuring the Sarentu's song. :)

I'll probably decorate up in the corner so it's not so bland, but it's good for now.

Okay so the air dry I got for the waytelem beads is definitely not going to work. I did also get a small pack of Sculpey oven bake clay, so I'll try that next. I might also still try to salvage some of the air dry beads, but the friction from sanding makes them soft again, so we'll have to see.

Guys my na'vi blogs name is Salewfya and here's why:"Salewfya" means: course, direction. I start the blog as a little baby in a community im not familiar with. The wind could take me in any direction, But I've set my course, and I'll find my path or pave a new one. Salewfya is "Path finder" to me.

Niktsyey for dinner!

Roast chicken, tomato, feta cheese, and banana peppers wrapped in romaine lettuce leaves. I didn't like the peppers, they were too overpowering. I would replace them with black olives next time.

I was relaxing in a Na'vi camp in the Kinglor forest, and I noticed some stuff on the ground. An ikran toy, blue dolls, bow and arrow, and these stones that have different designs on them, but I don't know the name or how the navi play with them. It's a small and very cool detail :)

I tried to ride pa'li around the plains, but got attacked by cloaked panthers every 5 steps, so I went back to my ikran.
For me, it's riding my ikran and fast traveling :)

Love this idea.
the sarentu were such a mobile clan i have to imagine that certain animals like the ikran or the direhorse had to have more importance to them than other clans. yes i’m aware that the omatikaya have their own iknimaya and bonding with an ikran is very important for them, but i would imagine then maybe the sarentu iknimaya is more akin to how the zeswa view direhorse riding as if it is an art / something beautiful to be done rather than just a step of maturity. without these animals they’d be unable to easily travel to other clans in order to collect stories and be diplomats.
i’d really like for there to be an animal that tends to bond strictly with the sarentu like how the tarsyu plants only open for the sarentu to bond with to speak to their ancestors — even if it was another species of banshees, since it’s confirmed there are other species of banshees (for example, forest banshees) or something like the dorado verde, but bigger so that it would be able to support a sarentu na’vi.
or perhaps even another large animal like the thanator, but tends to be more docile. the reason i’m straying from direhorses is because i do not want to take that connection away from the zeswa, but also, i’d prefer this animal to be a kind that bonds for life, like the mountain banshee. i shall keep thinking

And here's my first attempt at clay beads. My mom made some, too - hers are the ones around the edge. They should be dry in 48 hours, and then I can try and drill their holes. We tried to form them around skewers, but the clay just stuck to the wood, so holes are going to have to come after they're dry. I was a child the last time I worked with clay, and I've never worked with this kind, so it was a learning experience. If they don't turn out, I'll try again!

Working on making wooden beads, some of which will be used for my waytelem. Especially this one where smaller sticks came out of the branch. I like the shape. The rest will be chorus beads, for in between the larger verse beads, and they'll be painted, preferably with handmade paints using natural pigments if I can find the right pigments around here.
