          the brunette never really FOUND herself in the library———reading wasn’t really ever her FORTE. but her father was; oh, how mr. palomo loved his books. and, with his birthday soon approaching, jessenia decided to drop by and snatch her father up a GOOD read ( not that she had any experience in the matter ). it was almost a lost cause, for jess only knew certain novels due to her being forced to read them during her school years. her mind pondered to think of what genre to get him — — — but she had NO IDEA what type he read. as she grew lost in her thoughts, the abrupt collision from the other drew her back; which was then followed by jessenia immediately reaching down and picking up the book. she mumbled multiple sorrys before handing it to the other, a simple smile lingered on lips as jess recognized whom the person in front of her was. ❛ you book shopping, yeah? i gotta get my PAPI something for his birthday————mind lending a hand or giving any RECOMMENDATIONS? ❜

dakota’s eyes scanned the bookshelves in front of her, two books already in hand. she took a trip every time she finished the books she had gotten during her previous visit to the bookstore, which was basically every couple of weeks. when she just didn’t feel like being around people, she would get comfortable on the couch and read for hours on end. it was lame to some, yes, but when you had been alive for over 300 years, you tended to find a lot of new hobbies. finally spotting the book she had been looking for, she smiled contently, grabbing it and heading up to the cashier. with a quick ‘thank you’ she left the store, reading the back cover of the last book she had grabbed. distracted by the summary, she didn’t see the person right outside of the door, running into them so hard that she managed to drop the book. “god, i���m so sorry. i should’ve been watching where i was going.”

heLLO MY LOVELIES!!! its ya girl, ur local Trash™, p here live from the est coast n hating the fact that i have to work every single day this week. anYWAYS here, below the cut, u will find a terrible drabble on the loml jess, so if ur down 2 plot??? just give this post a  LIKE ! im SOSOSO excited yall. SOOOOOO excited.

      — ( EIZA GONZALEZ, CISFEMALE, SHE/HER ) i’m certain i just spotted  jessenia palomo  out in town. the  twenty-five  year old  werewolf  has known to be very  volatile  and  clamorous  but they can also be very  individualistic  and  solicitous . jess changed for the first time when they were  fourteen years old, and jess is part of the  ashford pack.

now. lets start with the beginning. born n raised in ashfrod.  jess was born into a VERY loving and big family. like, her grandmother had 8 kids and all of them had at least 3 children (except for her mom who only had jess n her bro matias). u do the math. so like growing up she was always surrounded by family n honestly i feel like that really helped her out n is the reason she is so Loyal™ to her pack. she grew up very aware of the supernatural because both of her parents are werewolves n her father was apart of the ashford pack. like her parents kinda wanted to go ahead n get the questions out of the way and make sure they fully understood the significance of the supernatural so if a time ever came when they transitioned, they would be prepared and very informed. growing up jess was the sweetest child ever yall. i cant. she would deadass give u her everything n wouldnt expect shit in return(still the same way to this day sometimes except she got anger issues now? MKDSMKSD yikes!). in school she would get in trouble a lot for talking and being loud. cause if there is ONE thing jessenia maria paula palomo-ramirez does NOT know how to do: is to be quiet.

honestly. jess never graduated highschool. im not going to lie, but, my baby is not smart academically. she ended up dropping out her junior year, the struggle was literally Too Real™ for her yall. ever since she started school, she was literally barely making it. like my poor baby struggled so bad. the only thing she was good at was literature n that was IT. so, when she dropped out, she began working with her father at his auto-shop n was like his little secretary/right-hand-woman. her older brother matias, on the other hand, was like the GOLDEN child when it came to her mom. he got straight a’s, was in all the advanced classes, played sports, and graduated with honors. honestly kinda feel like her brother caused an unintentional wedge between jess and her mom??? like growing up it was usually just jess n her dad. like her mom n mat would go do stuff n leave jess n mr. palomo at home. so jess has mama issues yall. its bad. sooo bad. i also think thats why shes kinda Emotionally unstable??? like really just wanted her moms approval, but instead her mom doesnt even talk about her to her friends. like one time jess met one of her mother’s friends n she thought she was someone there to water plants. but? her n her dad are like two peas in a pod. literally if it wasnt for her dad jess wouldnt be able 2 be who she is. like her dad taught her EVERYTHING she knows today. yall im NOT kidding when i say jess n her dad are bestfriends. they like a package deal. MSKSMKDMKDS buy one palomo? get the other one for free bc shes indepedent in certain aspects but not when it comes 2 her dad!

when she transitioned for the first time two weeks after her fourteenth birthday, her dad helped her out a lot. because, i mean, yeah she was raised to be prepared for something like that, but when it actually HAPPENED she was kinda shaken up for a few days. now? MY BABY IS EVOLVED YALL. SHE A BADASS MF WEREWOLF. sooo loyal to her family n her pack. would die for them. has almost died for them. will definitely do it again. shes the type to have no regards for her safety or life, but does for those she cares for. kinda has the whole “ill die before anyone i love dies!” type of thing going on. she still works at her dad’s auto-shop, but now? it’s HERS. it’s still called ‘palomo’s auto-shop & repair’ but u can tell its ran by jess. its, how shall i say, more efficient? cause i love her to death, but she is very bossy???? she DOENSNT MEAN TO BE YALL SHES A MF SWEETHEART BUT she likes to be in control of everything n crinkles up her nose n makes a huff sound when she doesnt get her way.

now. onto her personality. jess is a literal sweetheart  deep down, but kinda covers it up with this imma beat ur Ass Son facade, who cannot control her emotions and tends to lash out sometimes without meaning to. she has a lot of unresolved emotional things going on and shes a big ball of mess that tries to act like she has control over her life but then she gets pissed off because she knows for a FACT her life is out of control n she has no idea how to fix it. a Softie™. loves love and everything about it. but shes the type to feel as if she is undeserving of it; as if love is too good for her. shes the mom friend. wants 2 make sure everyone is happy and safe and having fun while also taking precautions to make sure they dont regret anything. LOVESS REALITY TV AND SOAP OPERAS BECAUSE SHES A VERY DRAMATIC AND OVER-EXAGGERATED PERSON WHO LOVES DRAMA WHEN IT DOESNT INVOLVE HER OR PEOPLE SHE LOVES. also. is kinda indifferent on vampires. catch her on a normal day? shes neutral. on a bad day? ‘THE FUCK THEM BLOOD-SUCKIN PENDEJOS WANT THIS TIME, HUH? ‘ speaks a lot of spanglish. i apologize in advance.
