It’s been many months since the closing of the entire case involving her husband, his death, and the last Times article featuring Petra. In the article, she stated that she wanted to move out of her 5th Avenue Penthouse and into something much younger and fresher.

Moving two avenues over, Petra has settled into her new Park Avenue Highrise. The 3 bed, 3 bath Upper East Side apartment is valued at nearly 5 million dollars, and is on the 35th floor. The rent is around 75,000 per month.

The renovated modern-art deco apartment certainly is a contrast to her lavish 5th Ave. penthouse.

Crime Lord’s Wife Collects Reward?

Petra Olympios-Solano, widow of recently deceased crime-lord Rafael Solano was the one to collect his reward?

On this day, the official case regarding Rafael Solano’s crime involvements has been closed after his death nearly six months ago. After multiple witnesses reported seeing Rafael manhandling and threatening Petra in an Upper East Side park, Petra herself was the one responsible for her husband’s death.

For the past six months, Petra Olympios and her lawyer Benjamin van der Bilt have been in a massive court case with many twists an turns. The FBI had a built up case against Rafael, with massive proof of his involvement in crime in the United States, Mexico, Guatemala, and Colombia. Crimes include smuggling several thousand tons of cocaine of the US-Mexico border in his many years, as well as numerous 1st Degree Homicides. He was 38 years old at the time of his death.

Petra, age 20, was only 19 when the couple eloped in Ibiza. After proving that she herself was not involved with his crime regime, as well as a strong case that he had threatened her life if she left him, Petra’s self-defense case won without much difficulty in court.

However, Rafael’s will was what led to a complicated court battle. His $150,000,000 fortune was immediately seized by the FBI, as well as the $15,000,000 assets of Petra. She managed to keep her penthouse as a result of a loan from her parents.

As a result of the massive amounts of evidence of Rafael’s crime Petra turned over to the FBI, Petra was able to receive a $20,000,000 settlement from the entire lawsuit. 

Petra has been able to expand her life in the previous months. While being one of the most prestigious models in New York, she was given a single-line deal with Michael Kors to design a line of luxury women’s clothing.

When asked about her plans, here is what Petra had to say:

“I really don’t have a plan right now. I have spent the last four years of my life with Rafael. He really took the last part of my teenage years, the most crucial years to finding yourself. I plan to take every opportunity I can and make the most of this wonderful city. Michael Kors and I have been working on my new line for the past two months or so, and we are in the process of finalizing the last few designs. Most of our items are manufactured already, and are ready to hit the runway in a month’s time.”

We asked her if she wanted to stay exclusively in New York, or move sometime soon. 

“I definitely want to stay in New York, but I would love to travel. New York is the city that my mother was raised in, and my grandmother was a U.S. Senator from New York for 30 years. Maybe I was born and raised in Miami, but New York has felt like a home to me since I got here. I would definitely like to move into a different place in New York, though. While my penthouse is gorgeous and extremely traditionally the Upper East Side, it has some bad memories that I don’t want to relive every day. I currently have my eyes on a recently renovated Art Deco penthouse in Midtown. I love the Upper East Side, but it’s a little too ‘Real Housewives’ for me right now.”

Petra’s current home is valued at around $17,500,000, and is pictured in the distance.

Petra and Rafael get in a massive fight the day after catching him in an affair. Petra is hurt, even though she herself was having an affair.

After threatening Petra’s life with his brutes, he was met with a sharp edge. In self-defense, Petra took the life of her husband, her first love.

After rushing home, Petra immediately called Benjamin van der Bilt, her lover and a partner at the Gershwin-van der Bilt International Law Firm. He agrees to take her case.

She hired a new maid, Lorena Castillo. Rafael is successfully distracted, at least for the moment.

Petra and Rafael leave Miami for Petra’s family’s hometown--- New York City. Using his fortune amassed through his major crime ring, they settled in the Upper East Side, in a massive 5th Avenue Penthouse.

Petra and Rafael get engaged, and she delves into the world of Manhattan’s social scene as a high-dollar model, walking the runway for her aunt, Karley Vilshman’s (formerly Harrison), designs.

Petra and Rafael’s relationship continues to develop stronger and stronger. However, Petra is afraid of truly falling in love with him. She wants money and power, and love wasn’t in her plan.

Petra and Corrine dominate their high school, clearly the most popular girls in school.

After a long day of school, Corrine decides to go for some food in a Miami Plaza. She runs into Rafael, where they enjoy a nice conversation. She casually points out her penthouse in the nearby tower, and he asks her if she knows Petra.

After Corrine told him she was in High School, she told him Petra was her twin sister.

Wanting answers, Rafael goes to visit Petra. She denies it, but confesses to Rafael that she really is only sixteen.

More disappointed than angered, Rafael and Petra agree to stay together after he has developed real feelings
