We’re Still Going: @tanyariseborough journey so far has been phenomenal. She has uber dark hair filled with the most red undertones ever. She is on a journey to blonde and I have to say she is what you call a dream client. Filled with patience. Her natural hair is unbelievably curly, coarse and frizzy. So we are always careful with her lifting process. An WOW! so far looking back she has come so far. We team pre-lightener with the right plexing agent added to keep her hair in check and also the right styling to ensure less coarseness and frizz as as she says her hair is always coarse and frizzy. Next 2 visits will be deep conditions and good cuts until we move onto colour again. Turn A Sad Face Into A Happy Face (A work in progress): This lady came in a few weeks ago absolutely distressed with her hair. She had gone to another salon and take a swipe at how she looked before 🤭➡️. She took her hair down I was more shocked and to be honest angry after she told me the owner at the salon did this to her shoulder length hair. Not one to bash but come on, I’m a salon owner and its always a sad day when as an owner you cannot take pride in what you do knowing that your clients are your walking advertisement. Well the colour looked dull and the cut well, looked very blocky, chunky and in general the clients whole look just looked dull, damaged with a unsuited cut. So seeing how distressed she was myself and @hollieneal teamed up hollie on a deep conditioning treatment and a slight change in colour, and as for myself I worked the best I could to rectify the cut and advised she grow her previously badly cut layers out so we can aim toward something a lot more suited this is it so far. Not quite where we want to be but a step in the right direction. People I cannot stress this enough never be intimidated if you are unhappy with your service, and always ask your stylist if you are unsure at any point of what they may be doing. It may just prevent you from going through such a trauma. This lady came in take a swipe ➡️ Look at her locks before to NOW! Totally different look! She was fed up and not had a good hair pamper in so long but wanted to go shorter. Well that we did, teamed with a Blowdry to suite! I ❤️ mixing up things and spending time on clients to make it all about them. I also love mixing in a bit of old skool, I see a lot of pictures where hair looks perfectly curled however call me old but I enjoy teaming a great cut or colour with a bouncy curly blowdry. Or even using rollers. I always see curls done with straighteners but I love taking time way to much and using a brush some rollers and pining it all together to create a bouncy, bodied and volumed look. Whats more I live for it!
