MMMMMMMMPH SUCH A GOOD Q !! okay, so we know definitely that the victus family is a military one. they we never particularly friendly, especially towards adrien, being the youngest, so when he was younger he never planned to go into the military. he wanted to be an architect, or a teacher, or anything that didn’t make him like his snooty  /  mean older siblings and father     (     his mom was pretty cool.     )     officer training changed that. he was always a people person, and when he realized that his smarts could be put to use on the battlefield while still remaining the charming person he wanted to be.     (     in honor of his mother     )     he never thought he’d get it, but his dream was always the primacy or another high-ranking office. ACTUALLY– let me put that a different way: his dream was to change the primacy. he watched society around him crack under the pressure of  “  the social norm  “  and the different levels of citizenship argued back and forth.don’t get me wrong– adrien victus loves palaven, he loves the turian race and the culture that comes with it. to love something truly is to know that it has faults. so when he comes into power– albeit in the most unconventional way possible– adrien realizes that he has big shoes to fill. because he is the one who will be remembered in the turian history books as the primarch who served during the reaper invasion, and who lead the turians out of it. he aims to, if anything, be remembered well. he wants to live up to his own expectations for himself and the ones his wife and son laid down for him. he wants to be true to himself and true to others, while still being the powerful leader that palaven needs at this time.
