What is it about Black Hat that made Demencia become infatuated with him?

Demencia has a thing for monstrous, powerful beings who don’t give a fuck. 

It’s not the money or the evilness. It’s literally how feral he is. Anytime he loses his temper or let’s his ““monster side”” out, it makes her swoon.  She is someone who is purposely chaotic. She hates rules and the mundaneness of society. Black hat is like the antithesis of everything society stands for. And I think that’s why she irritates him more than she really should. She loves getting under his skin and seeing his wrath. She doesn’t care that she’s being rejected. The way he rejects her is extremely attractive to her.  Careless? Dangerous? That’s the point. She loves it like that. And she wouldn’t change a thing about their relationship.

Do you remember that one Grinch Halloween Special where the cart he’s driving has like a chaotic pocket dimension of cosmic nightmare fuel?

That’s what’s inside the core hat. 

And what, perchance, is Black Hats head underneath said hat?

let’s just say his “body” isn’t entirely in our dimension...

Basically he’s kinda like an angler fish in that what we see as ““Black Hat” is just a prop used to interact with prey and the rest is a Lovecraftian, amorphous thing of insanity inducing contortions.

oooh that slug post got me wondering what other hcs you have abt the heroic au characters that you wouldn’t mind throwing on the table....

Clemencia

 Mostly Pacifist in that she won’t kill you. But she’s willing to disable you if that’s what it takes to protect others. She’s a very rule oriented person. It helps her keep her principles. She works for WH as a sorta Hero for Hire if you need help training or need a plus one for a dangerous mission. She also works Charity events. Clemencia has wings! Swan wings! Which she occasionally has to molt and clip bloodfeathers out (if you don’t know what that is, ask your bird friends).  She loves all things pastel and kawaii and sings a lot, like, A LOT. 100/10 wholesome hero

Slug

Slug prefers to work alone. He doesn’t exactly hate company so long as it doesn’t get in the way, but he gets overwhelmed if the social interaction is too demanding. He has PTSD from an in-verse war he fought in. Initially you’d think he’s an ass, but he really is just tired. White Hat lets him stay in the lab for the most part, unless he needs someone working forensics or investigation. This is how he met 666 (505). White Hat

Completely pacifist. Will never lay an offensive move. Only defends. In many cultures he has lived in, he’s sometimes identified as an angel. He spends most of his time trying to figure out how to end all the worlds problems. Because of his way eldritch body and the fact he doesn’t need nourishment as much as humans, he often gives food and shelter to those who need it. He’s a very giving and sacrificing person who works tirelessly to see the good in people and bring it out. He genuinely believes that all villains and monsters have a good side if you’re willing to work with them and help them through their struggles. This means he often can be taken advantage of, which is why Clem and Slug are protective of him. 

666

He is.. something. Slug isn’t sure. WH has theories but explaining them requires explaining certain concepts that have no human equivalent. “Beast” is what the humans called him. Slug found him up in Scotland terrorizing a small village. Turns out, the bear has many myths around him. Interesting enough, his likeness can be found across the globe from different periods of time. Whether he’s a part of a species or is a singular, powerful entity. He allowed himself to be captured by Slug, possibly to get closer to WH. Most of the time, 666 is a cage or restrained by some sort of tech or magic. It’s proven that it could break from its bounds, but chosen not to. He is planning something. But for now he is.. for a lack of better words, Dormant.

This is probably kinda weird and stupid so you can just pass this if you want but what’s your take on Sluggy’s moral compass

This is not stupid or weird and I think it’s my favorite question ever so thanks for asking!!

Slug is... rough around the edges. He’s seen a lot of the worst side in humanity and tends to be stand offish as a result. He’s a skeptic and pessimist and not really that social so he comes off as a villain. But he’s not a bad guy. He has principles and believes in protecting the innocent. He’s just not a pacifist about it. I think the closest I can come to describing him is Batman-Morality minus the no kill rule because he will fucking kill you if you push him enough.  In short: bitter, angry, pessimistic, callus, loner, but not evil. No where near evil.

Okie dokie! So.... Who do you think would win, Dr. Stein (Soul Eater) or Dr. Flug? I asked Alan during stream one time and he said he wasn't sure! I'd love to hear what you think!

Ok so I’ve never watched Soul Eater, so I had to consult the handy dandy wiki. 

It’s hard to say cause Flug has a bit of mystery around him and we don’t exactly know what all he’s capable of. For all we know, he could be a powerhouse.

Stein has proven himself ambitious and capable, from what it sounds. I imagine he’d be a formidable foe for Flug. However, Flug is shown to be extremely intelligent and adaptable. If Flug knew about stein first, I wouldn’t be surprised if he spied and analyzed Stein. With that information, Flug would be able to construct something that would be able to disarm and discharge Dr Stein with ease.

But if Stein were to catch him off guard, I think he’d have the upper hand in battle. 

Like I said, we don’t know much about Flug. So gaging these things is a little harder. And since I don’t personally know Stein, I can’t pick up on any personality flaws or traits that would influence the battle. It really depends on who catches who off guard.

Sorry if that’s not a great answer. I just don’t have all the information needed for that kinda battle.

now if we’re asking who is more attractive, I’m gonna say Stein. And that may just be because I love a man with scars ;)

What theoretical pets would the Heroic AU characters prefer to have mayhaps?

There’s a lot of birds. Both Clemencia and White Hat have a lot of birds.  Clemencia-well, my Clemencia interpretation- has a swan theme! Thusly, she often visits the swan pond near the mansion. She has many animal friends. 

White hat has a little aviary right beside the mansion. Tons of birds live there of all kinds.

Slug is .. a little less of a pet guy. He used to have a dog back in his war days but she has since passed. Her name was Maverick. Clemencia did surprise him with a puppy one year. His name is Ace!  it’s all very cute
