Aev had to get away from the 14+ hour days, the comms pinging like a cyclone of noises. her eyes getting cross eyed from the constant flimsiwork coming in and out of her responsibility. she threw everything down and ran off to her ship to get some fresh air.

Docked next to her was a familiar ship she didn’t know was still on world. She ran in calling to find wrecker knocked out on a stuffed bean bag in the corner, a gift she didn’t know they kept. A sight for sore eyes, she knocked off her boots and got right next to wrecker.

“good to see you wrecker”, Aev settled against his shoulder.

‘the sounds of snoring picked up, and he mumbled, “no, nnno I need more.. more boom. beautiful explosives for-”.

she deserved a nap, and good company.

A few hours later-

a knock was heard off the maurauders hull, footsteps walked over to address it. A shock trooper was met with crosshair unamused by the intrusion.

“Per our footage it shows aeviririn came to your ship, the commander asked me to check on her and retrieve her.’ the trooper directed

crosshair moved his toothpick to the other side of his mouth, then stepped to the side slightly. “shes busy, we’ll send her back when she’s done, reg.” He barked.

The shock troopers tilted his bucket, “if she’s in any harm, I will have to-”

“to what?” Crosshair snarled. The pause felt longer than it was before he shook his head and continued, “shes resting. Tell your commander she’s fine.”

Closing the door on the trooper, Crosshair stepped back to his seat picking up his rifle and continued cleaning it.

she was under good care and just needed a break.

Inspired by @v4r-jpg and their ghibli wrecker art <3 I took 20 to decompress and wrecker seems to soothe that. Also I just wanna sleep on a huge kark’n bean bag please.

Silvio “Silvie” Rea

I’m very interested in chemistry, so I thought it would be cool to look for inspiration from there. Silvie’s full name (Silvio Rea) is an anagram of Lavoisier. She’s named after Antoine Lavoisier, who was a 18th-century French scientist that contributed a lot to the history of modern chemistry.

There were two anagrams which I liked: Silvio Rea and Viola Eris. I kind of think the latter is prettier, but ultimately, I chose Silvio because it sounded close to silver, a metal which has symbolic meaning to her characterisation.

Although her name is properly Silvio, I always refer to her as Silvie, because I think it sounds cuter and more fitting. The in-universe reason for her nickname is: her best friend and partner calls her Silvie with so much affection and warmth, she wants it to be the default so she starts introducing herself as ”Silvie”.

so I was doing a deep dive into mbti randomly a little while ago and found these youtube videos analyzing the mbti types of the batch. they typed tech as an intp and mentioned how intps show they trust others by sharing information and research with them and for them to have what theyre saying be ignored or shut up is like shutting down their bonding efforts. now whenever I watch episodes and see the others interrupt tech and tell him no one cares about what he is saying my crusty little heart breaks even more 😭

Honestly, even without the typing, it's always broken my heart when people shut him down. He has interesting facts and he wants to share them! This is how he communicates! He's chatty and like anyone else he's going to chat about things that he thinks are interesting. He wants to share!

There's only so many times people can shut you down and tell you that what you're saying isn't interesting before it really starts to sink in that no one is interested in you, and when it's your main way of communicating, it can leave you at a bit of a loss. Like, what do you say when what you think is interesting is apparently not interesting to anyone else?

Tech sweetie, I care about Clone eye colour genetics, I care about the blast primer coating, I want more details about how a stinger is a delicacy. Please share the first fact that springs to mind. I'll listen ❤
