His smirk grew to the small but overwhelming touch; feeling blessed just to be in her presence. Those long fingers gave her shoulders a quick but light squeeze before he guided her body to turn around and face him. Maroon eyes flashed with unbridled excitement to the beauty that was she. The hand she had placed upon his shoulder was now in his where he brought it to his lips and planted a chaste kiss upon the back.

         --- “Bellissimo...How kind Father time has been to you.” He remarked in a low but smooth voice, her hand still in his. “Where has my Goddess been? Were you hiding from little ol’ me?” The words sounded odd coming from such a refined man; almost coming off as a bit too humorous.

The Elder vampire stood before the younger woman in silence as dark hues carefully assessed her fair face. She was quite pleasing on the eyes, he noted. Once she was done speaking he cracked a small grin, revealing his sharp fangs; however, it was out of courtesy and not intimidation.

            --- “Do forgive my intrusion, mia cara,” his Italian accent evident upon his words. “Allow me to introduce myself: Dr. Vincent Vannelli.” At that he bowed his head to the introduction before erecting his posture back up. “I was told you may be able to help me as I stay in beautiful France. Unless I am mistaken of course. In that sense I do apologize for bothering such a divine woman.”

“well aren’t you the frightful looking fellow.” the blonde decided to point out, having seen vampires in similar fashion before, but always finding them almost emberassing. “how may I help you? it’s not every day I get visitors at my private estate” seeings as she’d never told anyone of it’s location. This person was intriguing to say the least and the female wasn’t entirely certain how she felt about this little scenario just yet.

A small but deep chuckle reverberated in his chest as he slowly made his way up from behind his old friend. As he stood behind her he was certain to prevent her from turning around to face him just yet by placing leather-clad hands upon her shoulders.

             --- “Or perhaps as dead as I...?”

                “I swear… sometimes conversations can be                  just as dead as this town. Figures…”
