👋🏼☺️ Hope everyone is having a great week. Apologies for not posting in so long. Honestly I’ve been struggling the past few weeks with feeling overwhelmed (we have guests for the next 2 months in our tiny NYC apt and the introvert in me is trying to cope 🤪😄) I thought about taking a break from drawing, but I’m seeing now how much it needs to be a daily part of my routine. Drawing is my therapy 💆🏻‍♀️☕️ Anyway! I may not post as often, but I’ll try to keep you updated. Also, I’m putting together a newsletter for when I add new work to the shop! “Trust in the Lord with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding.” Proverbs 3:5 🌿 . This is actually yesterday’s #30daysofbiblelettering verse, but I finished so late last night that I thought I’d just save it for today. ☺️ . Probably one of the first verses I learned, and still so powerful. Yesterday, know this was the days verse for the challenge, it was going over and over in my mind- which was *exactly* what I’ve been needing to remember! My husband and I are so blessed to be where we are, but we do have hopes for the future and for our 2 year old boy, Jevon. Meditating on this verse all day was encouraging and uplifting. “ I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11 🙌🏼✨ . I recently finished an Isaiah 40 series and I just love having some fresh encouraging art in shop 🌻🍃 .
