THEM!!!

An incredibly old (2 years??) drawing that I decided* to post on Pride Month!

*my friend demanded it

A little bit of yapping undercut, along with an additional doodle including their pride flags:

Salvatore x Raifort x Larry is a completely random ship that I'm stupidly attached to, to the point where those three bordered on being my favourite characters in Scarlet and I'm pretty sure I became visibly and audibly excited when any of them were on-screen (friends will confirm or deny). Their dynamic comes down to: Salvatore and Raifort were a couple, Salvatore being Raifort's housewife, until they both met Larry at that eatery and decided "we need to help this sad sad man through the power of love". And so they did!! They also probably beat up Geeta on the way :)) Apparently (I've forgotten about this completely until like fifteen minutes ago) I have also created an angsty AU where Salvatore lost his voice and Raifort - her memory, and because Larry wanted to help them, they were in danger of getting killed, or something... I need to revisit that one day and make it into something serious, stay the heck tuned

Queen Daria (Hydron's mom). She is not a character that appears in the story me and my friend are working on outside of being mentioned by name. And she truly is a minor character, but I just like her SO much that it felt wrong not to give her a design.

More info undercut, quick trigger warning for mentions of illness and death.

She spent her entire life fighting for survival, and the result of that fight was the decision to marry Zenoheld.

Daria had always been sick, marriage to the king ensured her the best healthcare and the technological access that she needed to stay alive. And it worked, for the time being she stayed in good shape. Unfortunately, giving birth to Hydron took a toll on her body, one she never truly recovered from. Year after year her body grew weaker and weaker until she passed away when Hydron was still pretty young.

When it comes to her relationship with her son, what she felt for Hydron was closer to pity then parental love. She knew they were both stuck with Zenoheld, and in Hydron's case, he would be stuck with him longer. She did the bare minimum when it came to caring for Hydron or protecting him from her husband - one day he will be alone with his father, it's better if he gets at least a little used to the harsh treatment. She also kept a distance from Hydron, she was nice to him and took care of him in the way that she deemed best, but never in a way that would let her or Hydron fully relax.

She had never stated it out loud or showed it, in fact, she hid it the best way she could, but she also resented her son a little bit. Seeing Hydron grow up into a strong young man while she got weaker, it felt like he was a reminder of the life she would soon lose. Although she knew it was wrong and evil of her, she blamed Hydron for taking her strength and her life away
