Like what you mean you hate a character just because they were kind of abrasive when speaking to the player character? "They were mean to me" and it didn't occur to you to wonder why? Like, what might their attitude toward you reveal about the world? About the social dynamics within it? About their own perspectives and backgrounds and personalities? Does it even occur you to ask? Would you only have liked them if they bowed to your presence and talked about how great you are? Like I'm sorry but you're so boring. How boring fiction would be if it cathered to you

For 800 years, MQ thought his biggest opp was Xie Lian. When in reality, it was his crush’s dog pack matriarch who doesn’t think him good enough for her “Owner” and thinks he won’t be able to give FX strong healthy pups and is setting him up with her picks.

She's appraised Mu Qing and decided that he is simply not strong enough. No matter how physically strong he is, she doesn't think he looks as ripped as the other martial gods. This is probably because she is a giant dog

Maybe she also looks at how pale he is and thinks that he looks sickly. She's hilarious and iconic

I just know for a fact that every time Calamity!FX drops another bit of lore on MQ, MQ has to use all his self control to not go to Tonglu and crash out on Jun Wu

They'll be having a nice quiet evening together and Feng Xin will suddenly remember some new terrible thing that Jun Wu did to him, and drop it on Mu Qing like it's nothing. Practically a tradition for them at that point

Even if MNQ won't let him murder Jun Wu I think he should still get to go yell at him sometimes. Or at least yell at MNQ
