So the story starts off with the MC on a mission with Arno and him leaving her midway because he spotted Elise. This causes the MC to rashly continue mission by herself to prove that she didn’t need him or something. I’m pretty sure afterwards she gets injured and Arno scolds her for rushing ahead without him, causing them to have an argument.

Then I can only remember that the (probably) latest chapter the MC becomes pregnant and they’re living in almost marital bliss. Until Arno, for reasons I completely forgot, subconsciously calls out for Elise. It causes the MC be in emotional distress saying how she’s been patient with him in getting over Elise, but now she’s heartbroken.

That’s all I can remember sadly.

I have had this story saved on a list, but when I tried opening the link on Ao3, it said that they couldn’t find what I was looking for. Can anyone see if it’s here on Tumblr or if it’s under a different name now?

I’m so absolutely desperate to read it again. 😭

Romance Genre

There used to be this cute anime I watched when I was younger and I cannot remember anything except for a few scenes for the life of me. So the anime should’ve been released somewhere before 2010.

It has the aesthetic of vintage and it reminds me of “The Rose of Versailles”, however I already went through some parts of the anime and it wasn’t what I was looking for. The time period reminds me of Victorian era but 1950s types of dresses. I wish I could find a more accurate description 😭.

I’m pretty sure the characters in the anime were not Japanese or Asian.

There’s a distinct scene I remember where it’s a full view of a building that looks like a greenhouse. The scene was fairytale like so the color scheme was soft and bright. I think there were vines and trees from the roof, I could be wrong.

Another scene I barely remember is this garden scene. I don’t remember the characters much but I do remember that there were low hedges, like bellow the waist. They were perfectly trimmed and probably square or rectangle.

I’m not sure why I only remember the scenery but that’s all I know. I might’ve watched it on either VHS tape or CD. Which have unfortunately been probably given away or something.

Can anyone remember or find an anime similar to what I’m describing? It’s been on my mind for a while and it’s driving me crazy how I don’t remember what the name is and how the plot went. I don’t even remember if it was in English or Japanese when I watched it.

I just wanna see if I can watch it again for old times sake 😭
