im watching it w my dad so i have to wait a week between watching but i've been excited all week to continue it because i love the entire show it's amazing <33
okay okay I’ve seen lots of people talk a lot about the characters in the Lockwood & Co. show (completely deservedly, and I agree that they’re awesome and I love them), but I haven’t seen many people talk about other aspects of the show that are just super cool??
That house is its own character in its own right and I commend the set designers for making it look so incredibly and realistically lived in by a couple of teenagers. That scene with the apple core added so much to the characterization of Lockwood & George!!
Their swords. Their swords. You don’t learn how to use a sword (or whatever they call them, I forget) in a day, they show in the beginning that it takes time and training to master it. Not only do they look so so cool, but carrying a sword showcases that these characters have a level of skill, and in effect, confidence in their ability to use it.
I also just love the mix of older & newer technologies, I think it’s neat.
Oh, and you can see in the night time scenes. That’s awesome.
All the ghost scenes are spooky as fuck, and I love it. Especially the scene when the cult (I think it was a cult I don’t remember) were all chanting in the basement? the build up of voices made it so much more tense
The cinematography was gorgeous. Night time walking down the street with Lockwood & Lucy? The yellow-orange light from street the lamps reflected on the wet asphalt?? The pure coziness of that house? Lucy’s room? The table?? How dreadful the house that Lucy’s classmates (ghost hunting mates? Yknow) die in is? The uneasiness in the fog while on the boat with Flo & George??
I love this show ðŸ˜

full offense but reidaway / spencelle had more chemistry in one season than jeid did in 15
#fr fr#writers kept forgetting they were tryna push jeid#every few seasons they'd remember and stick in one scene
