I don't advocate violence, but EVERY SINGLE employee still at Twitter has an opportunity to do the funniest thing in history this March 15.

Ishibutai Kofun

Ishibutai kofun is a tomb from around the 7th century in Asuka, Japan.
Long story short the guy who is believed to have been buried here had a grandson, who was alleged to have planned to kill the Emperor and install his clan as rulers. As a result, when he himself got assassinated, this tomb got its earthen mound covering it removed, supposedly. Which explains why the kofun had been devoid of grave goods, I guess it was really obvious and easy for grave robbers to break into.

Krishna never said being gay would send you to hell.
Krishna never said that having sex before marriage would send you to hell.
Krishna never said that eating this thing or drinking that would send you to hell.
Krishna never said that you had to confess any sin to some other fallible person in order to be liberated.
Krishna never said that anyone who doesn't follow him should be put to death.
Any religion that forces someone to live a certain way is only an excuse to control people and justify cruelty. Unfortunately, it's what most other religions did for thousands of years.

Takamatsuzuka Kofun

Takamatsuzuka kofun is a tomb in Asuka, in southern Nara prefecture, built in the 7th or 8th centuries. Replicas of grave goods, including a bronze mirror are on display i n the small museum nearby. It's famous for its murals, especially the one in the second picture, the Asuka Bijin (飛鳥美人) or the Asuka Beauties, and the star chart on its ceiling
No one knows who is buried here, but one guess is Kudara no Konikishi Zenkou, the son of the last king of the Korean kingdom of Baekje.

Moved on to Gregory of Tours' History of the Franks. Love having a mindmeld with someone who begins their history book with a recap of Adam and Eve. Love just having huge wacky books like this in my reading list.
Hey guys, to start US history 1, let's lay down the important background information. Millions of years ago there were some big ass reptiles that roamed the earth that we call dinosaurs, now one day a lot of these dinos got merced by a big space rock and following dramatic climate changes. Cool af monkeys evolved...

When I told my mom that she should stop saying bad things about trans people she immediately asked me if I was trans.
In their mind, knowing/caring about trans issues means that you are trans and therefore deviant/shouldn't be listened to on the subject
