Apparently I've lost interest in Wayfinder trio because of vens god damned shoes, I'm really struggling with the lighting on this one I think I gotta do something different, I feel like I deviated from what I got comfortable doing and now I don't know what I'm doing lol. Lowkey, now that I'm thinking about it. I'm more angry I gave up on vens shoes, and though y!xehanorts keyblade was easier better option. I drew so much of this thing that I'm not even keeping in the final image

Finally finished mt reference sheet for Tel'Yono! Incidentally, I also finished her story, I'm gonna miss this psycho, I really love her so much, she changed so much from when we first started. Went through some pretty crazy things, tbh. I wanna do some sort of big write up about her story, and go through all the fine details, and what she thought, and what she did but rn I have no brain power, I was really hoping to get this done for Feb as my first piece of the year, but I guess since I stayed up all night working on it, it still counts lol.

we finished dream drop last night! and unfortunately i have nort worms now. also, man, this guys keyblade is a pain in the ass to draw, why you gotta be so complicated bro? still planning out some things, but i gotta doodle all the pieces individually, so i can move them around, before i start cleaning up my sketch.

My next piece for may! Struggling a little with a terras' arm and roxas' foot, I'm trying to draw his leg like it's kicking up a little while seated, and I can not stand this boys' shoes lol, your ugly shoes pmo boy lol

i love them your honour! i wanted to do more with the background, and maybe have xion and axel for roxas and riku and kairi for sora but tbh i dont wanna do all that lmao, also i felt like my border was enough flair, i really wanted to keep the focus on roxas and sora's faces. sora was a struggle im not gonna lie, why did i pick such an awkward angle for his face?! but having him opening one eye like he was just waking up was too good to fight, i just had to figure it out.

still working my way through 358/2 days, tbh i put it down for a little bit cause my fiance and i have finished with birth by sleep, and are now starting dream drop distance! and they lent me their 3ds copy so that we can play it together! i am so in love with the dream eaters, recently got that deer looking one with the trombones for antlers and named him Shishi Gami, after the spirit of the forest in princess mononoke! i also found out about the dyes and painted him red since his horns spit out fire lol. its kinda embarrassing but im playing on standard and still having a hard time keeping up with my partner while they are on the hardest difficulty. oof. they are so good with the flow motion too!!! what is up with that!? ive been practising while we arent playing but im still struggling with it dude.

The other half has slowed down on dream drop distance, and it's taking everything in me not to run ahead. We're trying to play together. But I REALLY REALLY WANNA PLAYYYY. Naively, I thought getting all the chests in the world's we did finish would be enough to tide me over. I got them all within an hour or so. And I am back to square one.

Hey guys let me tell you about advance fee scams

I hope y'all are familiar with these in this day and age, especially my artists out there, because they're incredibly common.

About half an hour ago I posted a drawing and tagged it #artists on tumblr, and very quickly received this comment.

My scam radar went off immediately, due to the generic blog name and lack of any emotion in the comment, but I decided it might be an entertaining venture so I dmed them. They asked for a drawing "of these", and sent me a random selfie. I got the details and told them it would be $15, and they promptly offered me $300. At this point I know it's a scam, but I play along for funsies and give them my paypal. Shortly, they send me this image for "confirmation" (I blocked out my email)

And they began to insist that I checked my email. I looked in my spam folder and found the following email.

This is fake. This is not a thing. And the "you're to refund the $200.00 back" is the scam. They send vaguely official-looking emails at you to "prove" that they sent you the money, then have you send them $200 (or however much the scam is for). Then, surprise surprise, you're out $200.

I continued to play along for a bit, and in the second email "Paypal" told me that I had to refund the $200 before they could "credit the $300 to my account", along with these lovely threats.

And yeah, it's silly. But it's not silly if you don't know and get scammed. So. Spread, please! And thank you very much to @mlaurel for the opportunity to get these screenshots.

its finished! im so happy my pen breaking briefly didnt stop me from getting this one done! i was genuinely so stressed this one was going to end up in my unfinished pile. this is my favorite drawing of mine since my moira picture! ramble ab 358/2 days and birth by sleep under cut- this is my first time going through the games so no spoilers please!

the other half and i are almost done with birth by sleep, but im still firmly in love with 358/2 days. my next piece is actually roxas and sora! (not a ship piece tho) ive been playing 358/2 days in my own time at my own pace, and its actually really distressing when either xion or axel go missing for a bit, my poor baby roxas just wants to spend time with his friends! Q.Q we watched the cinematic of it in the bundle they have with all the games, but actually getting to play the games and feeling out the passage of time is a way better experience imo, i really like getting to chat with everyone in the grey room before going on a mission, roxas' diary entries make me so sad, and the little staticy screen of soras memories trying to get through to roxas when hes in the same space as sora was is so good, i really wish they had a little more of that in the cinematic, seeing it on the bottom screen in real time as your playing is an amazing touch. i like the cinematic visually way more, but getting to play the game is actually a much better experience fr fr

also i couldnt help myself feeling a little giddy when xigbar said this, i wish the 3ds had a screen shot feature similar to the switch, please excuse my dusty ass 3ds, this thing is a fucking magnet for dust istg
