seemed she'd woken up in a pretty bad mood today. she looked tired, and even a bit grumpy. a nightmare maybe, or maybe she just couldn't get to sleep again - it was likely the later.

pidge turned around at the sound behind them and nearly screamed. almost immediately however, the human seemed to relax, letting out a long sigh as their shoulders slumped forward. good god, they'd been on edge, and being startled by a stranger did not help.

" i'm fairly certain it's impossible to go into a book world. " glasses are adjusted as the green clad human looked the other up and down. he looked human enough, but there was something that definitely screamed 'alien' about him. certainly not the white hair and strange... horns? they seemed particularly interested in why he was so tall, however. " so if its not a book world, and this isn't earth, where is this? "

⋆˖⁺‧₊☽◯☾₊‧⁺˖⋆ He's floating behind this small - ... human? He can assume they're human from their build and height and... ears. They couldn't be Windarian, even if they looked mostly human themselves. The Windarians were always concerningly tall.

This human seems... lost.

So he's offering a smile as he clears his throat a little as if to bring attention to himself, hoping they would turn around.

"Well, no. This world is commonly known as Wonderland."

it's a feeling down kind of day for her. so she's just gonna sit and stare out the window.

" well, i certainly wouldn't take that lying down either. " he could only imagine what the man meant by 'handled', and he certainly didn't want to know. " are they okay though? the friend i mean, not the 'grey face' or whatever you called it. "

"They touched a friend of mine today without their permission. So I handled them." He says simply, "It's not the first time they've done things like this though. They've caused nothing but issues for people so I'd be careful if you ever do meet them."

" no, but that certainly doesn't sound pleasant. " he crossed his arms. " seriously, how can someone wear a mask and expect people to trust them? "

well, maybe he shouldn't say that. being someone with a helmet he wore pretty regularly. but helmets and masks were different... right?

" yeah a lot of that in the moment type of work can really stress you out when it happens, i get it. i'm sorry it's been like that. "

"Honestly, I've already handled the situation. It's just things keep popping up when I least expect it and have to handle that situation then and there. It's specific beings that don't know when to stop."

"It is, it can also take a toll on your mental health at times. Though, I try to keep that in check." He doesn't mean to show how tired he is, but it's pretty obvious on his features that he's wore out from this past weekend.
