KuroDai Week 2025!

Hello hello! The kurodai community is excited to bring back KuroDai Week this year!

What is it? A celebration of the relationship between Kuroo Tetsurou and Sawamura Daichi from Haikyuu!!

When is it? September 7 - September 13, 2025!

What do I have to do? You can create original kurodai fanworks inspired by our prompt list, or cheer on and celebrate the creations of other kurodai fans! A collection for kurodai week 2025 will be created on AO3, but you can also post on tumblr and tag us so we can reblog your work!

Currently craving: tiramisu!!! 😩 I don’t often specifically crave sweet things, but I’ve been musing on a good tiramisu for like a week at least

I am in my feelings about iwaoi again today, especially about the situation with The Point.

Oikawa has other options. Kindaichi and Kyoutani are both closer. Or he could even just try to send it over himself to regroup. But no — “This is FOR YOU, Iwaizumi Hajime, so you better get ready.”

And then he sets it PERFECTLY from that wonky angle, ACROSS THE COURT like there is no one else. Because there isn’t really. It’s Hajime. When Tooru needs someone most, it’s got to be him 😭

When it gets down to it, when the situation is difficult, when everything is on the line… it will always be Iwa.

Bobata Kazuma X reader edition

May be OOC because canon Bobata only gets like five seconds of screen time, please don’t sue me!

Bobata Kazuma insists on holding your hand everywhere crosswalks, hallways, even when you’re just walking from the couch to the kitchen because “What if I lose you to the void?”

Bobata Kazuma writes little notes in your notebooks when you’re not looking; sometimes it’s doodles of your favorite animal, sometimes it’s just “Hi :)” but it always makes your day.

Bobata Kazuma genuinely believes dates can be anywhere with snacks and you, which is why he once called eating instant ramen on a fire escape a five star evening.

Bobata Kazuma will dramatically announce his love for you every time you do something mildly impressive, like opening a jar or answering a tough question with “THAT’S MY BABY!!” Loudly, you immediately get embarrassed.

Bobata Kazuma has a secret playlist titled “they’re gonna marry me” and it’s just songs that remind him of you, including the really sappy and embarrassing ones he’ll deny ever adding.

Bobata Kazuma keeps a running list in his phone called “things to tell them later” because he always thinks of funny stuff when you’re not around and wants to make sure he doesn’t forget to make you laugh.

Here’s my list —

1. Three Favorite Ships: This changes constantly, but currently probably Iwaizumi/Ushijima (my beloveds who I’m writing my current long fic about), Renga from Sk8, and Kakeru/Haiji from Run With the Wind. I ship all the sports lads!

2. First Ship: hmmm. Maybe Viktor/Hermione? I used to be a huge HP fan back when I was young, before… well, y’all know. My first Haikyuu ship was Kenma and Hinata though!

3. Last song: Vertigo by Surfliner, Wendy Lane (This is on the fic playlist for my Heat Waves sequel called Cloud 9, which will be about Oikawa!)

4. Favorite Childhood Book: I’ve always had books I read kind of obsessively over and over, and when I was in middle school and going through a rough time, one of those was The Prince and the Pauper. I haven’t re-read it in ages though.

5. Currently Reading: I’ve been mostly into manga and manhua lately! I just started I Ship My Rival x Me vol 2! And of course I’m also always reading fics too haha.

6. Currently Watching: I am a big re-watcher of things. Most recently it’s Yuri on Ice (for the millionth time)

7. Currently Craving: A break! Haha. But also, pho. I live wayyy more rural now than I used to, and sometimes I miss being able to get basically whatever I could possibly want food-wise 😭

8. Currently Consuming: ice water & pistachios!

9. Pets: I don’t currently have any because of where I live 😭 but one of my family members has a huge dog named Teddy, so I have ways to get my pats quota in haha.

I am now freaking out about this ship.

I am out here thinking about conspiracy theories, like when Ushijima talks about rice with Kageyama it’s because Osamu told it to him first. “They say”… more like his boyfriend told him 😭

I also think Osamu would enjoy that Ushijima unintentionally gets on Atsumu’s nerves and doesn’t get his jokes. (Cut to, all of the hallway scene before the JackAdlers game)

Bonus: Ushijima heard Bokuto mention his man and stepped into the hallway

I like to imagine Ushijima, a serious man of 1.92m, becoming smiling and shy when he is around Osamu, his eyes would soften just by looking at him or hearing Osamu's name being said by someone around him - Osamu would find Ushi's literal and direct way of talking funny even if he couldn't explain why, he would also love the fact that Ushi lets him chat about food or new recipes while looking at him as if he were the most precious thing in the world.
