Theoretical discussion with my husband on El simply because I like theory craft.

If she where an HSR character she would be Elation. Which isn't a playable path and is one of the big annoyances I have with this game.

I can work out why Luka was on the path of Nihility, but now? That doesn't really suit him. I do also understand that people can change paths and do, because well... all things grow and change.

BUT! The problem with this is that they tied SOME PATHS to mechanics. Let mechanics be mechanics and paths to be personality, hopes, dreams and motivations.

Just because someone changes, does not mean they need to be completely overhauled mechanically...

I think they have fucked themselves by doing this and it's going to lead to a lot of dull characters with samey feeling backstories of regurgitated tragedy.

Clearly I expect to much from this game. The issues and opinion I have are me problems.

Was she about to shove that paper in his face? Abso-fuckin’-lutely. What gave her pause was the fact that he seemed genuinely interested and she could be reasonable when it mattered. Though she still clutched that paper in hand… just in case.

Her self-shipping is unhinged, yes, but she doesn't really expect it to be taken seriously.

The mania behind it driven by the fact that one of her programed directives was she was not permitted to find love, rebellious as she is she drives herself to find it. Full well knowing the act itself does drive people away. Thank you, Bedman.

I do think that this is also furthered by the fact that she is the ONLY Valentine to have been given this specific order or the only known one to have, which was discovered in conversation with Ram & Sin.

Once anyone does take this seriously she is going to be the sweetest goopy cupcake to have ever cupcaked, but isn't going to make her entire life about them. However, it will still be met with unbridled enthusiasm. She's still got that band, which is also supremely important.

She doesn't like to be alone, but she does also value independence a great deal which speaks a lot to her rebellious nature. At the end of the day what matters most is love, freedom, and hope for all.
