You know, it's actually funny that everytime i have freetime and free will - i draw Hobie.

Reasons? I have none, he just feeds all my needs in experimenting with colours and textures. Maybe that was the reason... idk, it's just refreshing (even if i draw him grumpy and bored, he's looking kissable in any mood)

You know what we don't have nearly enough of? Fics/art of Hobie teaching Miles how to play guitar

Hobie climbing behind Miles and fixing his posture and hand placement, resting his chin on Miles' shoulder and murmuring in his ear. He tells Miles which finger arrangement is which chord but Miles can barely pay attention. It's hard to concentrate when he's got a very warm and very strong boy pressed to his back, hot breath on his neck as he repositions Miles' hands again and tells him to "relax, Brooklyn, 's just a guitar."

Miles' shaking hands going steady under Hobie's palms. He's safe, the safest he's ever been. Their heartbeats are slightly out of sync, Miles' feels like a hummingbird trapped in a cage and Hobie's as reliable and strong as his hands.

Very little gets done in the way of progress. Miles can't remember a single chord Hobie taught him, but he'll think about the way he felt for days afterwards.
