Terra Incognita follows life on a mysterious island, inhabited by immortal beings. These beings lead a pre-civilized life forgotten by time, spending their endless days in hedonistic lethargy. Through anecdotal vignettes, the film tells the story of what happens when these beings are visited by the outside world, and whether or not there is a greater meaning to it all.

We were invited by Skillen & Co., a Canadian video producer company, to collaborate with them in designing and animating visual schemes for TED and Zebra Technologies’ video. As most of the content is about non-physical concepts, our goal was to develop visual explanations to work with the interview’s narrative highlighting the essence of the information that was being spoken. We have done more than 20 animations that are placed over the film. As a result, the video have accomplished to easily inform how technology is shaping our daily lives and what we might expect over the next following years.

This project is a promotional video for 2017 Augmented World Expo. AWE (Augmented World Expo) is the world's largest conference and expo dedicated to AR, VR and mixed reality.

The idea behind this project is taking colors of 3-D glasses, that ties in perfectly with the AWE 2017 logo, and leverage that into interesting graphic elements. The contrasts of shape, colors, and texture in this piece are what make it unique and recognizable. As well as using layers of geometric forms to create dimensions and intensity to the work.

This student project was submitted to Adobe Awards 2017. With its unique, eye-catching design and animation, it receive an honorable mention from the award show.
