The other costume looks the same but has different name and description: "I'm A Star" - Enhance your performance with this cool costume! Maybe you can either buy matching costumes with LI or pay less and get one only for yourself. I didn't see any outfit for the LI but since they share the same body assets, they could also share the outfits.

Ok, maybe TE wouldn't be totally doomed by chatGPT since the story isn't actually finished and its lead author Chelsa seems to be still working at PB, but I'm really worried about Endless Summer. A finished book without the original team around anymore doesn't need to be butchered with an unnecessary sequel, especially one generated by some fkng AI.

PB is reeking of desperation.

No doubt she looks pretty, although after two white dudes I expected the female LI to have more exotic looks (from personal perspective), considering the team comes from a company that takes pride in inclusivity and diversity. Generic white chicks with bright colored eyes are already in abundance in adult game world. Maybe CL is trying to play it safe, idk.

March Choices Insiders is here. I remember I used to look forward to them and wait until late hours to discuss with others. Now I need to be reminded by others to check my mail box. How times have changed.

Excellent news. None of that gender locked BS, thank you very much. Though it sounds more as if PB looks at the player numbers rather than the like/dislike ratio. I'd be interested to know what metrics are the most important to them.

If it's just Apollon and Aphrodite like on the cover then it doesn't matter. Wake me up when there's at least two female LIs.

lol it's so funny when the female MC borrows clothes from the male LI but they still have to show a lot of skin because of p*rn game rules. I'll help you imagine if Gabe and Cas actually wore these clothes 😛:

I was expecting ID3 would also fall victim to AI slop. It's not like PB would suddenly treat ID better than Blades. Many outfits look low quality and have glaring and annoying errors. Just look at the chapter 1 outfits. f*MC's jacket's pocket merging with the zipper:

M!MC's jacket has zipper teeth on both sides of the lapel and the pocket has two-way zipper:

Also the jacket's belt pokes out from the inside of the jacket for some reason:

F!MC has 3 drawstring ends but M!MC even has at least 4 of them:

Not sure whatever is going on with the chest plate. It's like it's too big or the lower part was suddenly cut off or it's not casting any proper shadow on the red cloth:

The one with the craven is the only one that looks cool despite being largely AI. I'd say F!MC would have looked equally hot covered up to her neck, but I guess for the rest women are only sexy when they show skin.

If you haven't checked it out yet then Candlelight Games held an AMA event in r/choices. While I'm still censored by the CCP there for reasons unknown to me, other people asked plenty of interesting questions that were answered. Some of my key takeaways:

CL has a "no AI" rule in the contracts with art vendors, though naturally they're unable to control and enforce it. I still suspect the artist used AI assistance when creating Bardak or whatever his name was, considering the suspicious elements both in the workflow and final outcome. Whether there is AI involved in art or not I choose to believe CL has nothing to do with it. For now.

The current plan for the game seems to release it for free in episodes though mobile app stores and include microtransactions, which is... unfortunate. Premium choices always cut the natural flow of the story and ruin immersion. Also, Google and Apple are such puritans and gatekeepers that they don't leave a lot of creative freedom to adult game devs. I would have launched a Patreon or Subscribestar, dripfed the episodes through those platforms and finally put the finished product on sale on Steam and other stores and likely release some censored version on mobile. There's quite a few adult game devs among the top supported Patreons and if you want more male players then PC support is recommended. I even prefer to play Choices with Android emulator.

One of the female LI's nickname is "Niel" better be pronounced differently than the male name Neil. Hopefully the female LIs will get better treatment than the girls in their Choices books. The game's introduction mentioning "your infuriatingly attractive rival" isn't exactly reassuring though.

Gia is like a breath of fresh air. She's such a fun and cute character and so different from all the other LIs from the last 2 or so years. All three actually seem to have a great chemistry, based on initial impression. It's like the MC and Trey have adopted a new puppy who's so eager to learn whatever new tricks and please its masters 😁

I might have to play IH simultaneously on two accounts to romance both and explore the kind and ruthless paths to the top.

A couple of lines of code could easily prevent players from picking names that don't make sense story wise. Or PB could have added a funny Easter egg if you pick Vitale or Tibideaux for your surname. Like the MC becoming the CEO with no issues and the story ending halfway through chapter 1. "Congrats on becoming the CEO of Vitale and thanks for playing Inheritance! Replay the book with a different surname to see other outcomes. Pixelberry" 😛

I already predict Trey is the key for the MC to get over the obstacle in the company's bylaws - an arranged marriage so that we can take Trey's family name.

This outfit is way too tight for him. The shirt's cuffs don't even reach the wrist!

Is the shirt supposed to be two toned or did the AI accidentally make the cuffs white instead of black like the rest of the shirt? What even is that little white rectangle on the shirt?

This is the laziest addition of pattern I've ever seen. Not only is it almost flat with barely any morphing to properly wrap around the suit's curves but it goes uninterrupted over every single surface, including the freaking shirt:

It's a miracle! For once it's not the GOC LI saving the MC from falling and catching them into a strong embrace. It must have cost PB a small fortune to implement this little dialogue change 💸

Oh yeah, the latest Choices Insiders also arrived yesterday, I just don't really care about all the... content or however you want to call the short AI slop for the tiktok generation that PB keeps churning out. I'll only say that I'm disappointed that the dystopian book is likely gender locked. I guess I was excited for nothing for almost a year 😒
