OK, here's another attempt at making regular posts here. I desperately need some inspiration, because I just spent over a month in a reading/general slump and I still struggle to get myself to do anything but bare minimum in a lot of areas. I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel, because I read 700 pages these past 3 days and finished 2 books, yaay. I need to find things to be excited about with my hobbies again, because I am struggling - if you have any recommendations for French media, I'd love to hear it.

Here are some tasks that await me in the next week or so:

- Monday off to help my family with some errands (and the rest of the day for me)

- planting the tomatoes (fingers crossed it will work)

- taking care of my butterfly bush before spring is fully back

- weekly French class on Friday

- hopefully (🤞) finishing my Spanish audiobook (Escritos para desocupados) and starting something in French

- finishing some library holds, because it's been MONTHS (I am postponing it regularly, don't worry)

🧹 Spent most of my day deep cleaning my bedroom so I can be more focused & relaxed here

this summer i will learn italian and french and russian and run a marathon everyday and work for three months and get fifty new ear piercings and read every work of high literature ever created and watch every movie. but most importantly just chill and relax

I've started a challenge for myself to actively work on my weak areas in French during the summer, so I'd love to keep track here of all the things I did for extra motivation :) I'm done with this intermediate plateau.

maybe it's better to learn a language slowly. maybe we're too obsessed with things happening as quickly as possible. maybe it's more beautiful to dedicate years of your life to a language and have it grow with you as you journey through life rather than "become fluent in one week!". idk just a thought.

As usual the vocabulary is in German - French - English

In the French vocab : (f) means the word is feminine, (m) that it’s masculine. It’s only noted as such when the gender of the word can’t be deduced from the article (”la” or “le”)
