i just think being aro really enriches my perspective on life and makes me better, it makes me more aware of the value of my relationships with my family and friends, i’m so glad i found the aro community which constantly challenges my internalized amatonormivity and my relationships with the people in my life

unfortunately i have fallen ill with a condition called loving my friends so much that i cant imagine who i would be without them. yeah. theres no cure im just gonna have to deal with the quiet euphoria of knowing and being known whenever theyre around. thanks for understanding
#okay this is perfect timing.#just last night i was crying because i felt like my intense love for my friends would just make me miss them even more when we're apart.#and i was really upset over it. like full on sobbing. because i get lonely very easily. and i always want to be around the people i love.#but like. this post really put that into perspective. and i just read it and thought to myself:#“what am i THINKING?? as if loving my friends is a sad thing?? as if it's not the most wonderful thing in my life??”#and i call myself a POET. and yet i forgot the basic poetic theme that's present in like thousands of poems:#feeling things and loving things is going to hurt at some point! it's supposed to! and it's worth it!! aghhh.#i know these tags are all barely relevant to the actual post. but like. this post kind of snapped me out of my weird sadness.#i'll love with everything i have and be loved in turn and if the intensity of it stings a little then i'll try to appreciate even that.#(like when the salt stings your eyes in the ocean but you're alive!! and in the ocean!! and the sting just emphasizes that it's all real!!)#okay now that i'm back to my normal mindset of being happy about how much i love everyone and not waxing poetic in the tags:#good post. yeah its incurable sorry. i love my friends forever and ever. yippee!!!

my beloved friend whom i adore has sent me a little stuffed frog in the mail for my birthday!! he's made of felt, he has button eyes, and he is absolutely perfect. and she sent a felt lily pad with him!!
