I think being a trans woman is a little bit like belonging to a breed of “aggressive dog”. There are people who swear up and down they love us, that we’re uniquely wonderful in our own ways and that there’s a mountain of misinformation about us. They show you videos of their pit bull sitting on their lap, desperate and anxiously attached to a person they love and are so dedicated to. They show their pit bull gentle and soft with a baby, a cat, something small and dainty. I feel sometimes like that boxy headed, muscular, square dog that keeps you out of nice apartments. But I love pit bulls. I always have.

Hello, my name is Ahmad Al-Louh, and I am from Gaza. Before the war, I worked as a lawyer, dedicating my life to helping others, seeking justice, and defending the oppressed. I don't have much of a story for how I came up with my name other than it literally translating to just being life/lively and having good rhythm

I'll go first:

I picked Saga cause it's a cute but still pretty unique scandinavian girl's name (I live in Denmark), because it's super fast to spell on a keyboard and because it means "story" in old nordic, which I really like cause this is my story, y'know? :>

I also recently found out Saga is the relatively unknown nordic goddess of stories, which I hate cause it means I accidentally fell into the tgirl stereotype of naming myself after a goddess xD
