HOW I SHIFTED FOR THE FIRST TIME
I'm gonna keep this short and sweet. For some context, no, this isn't literally my first time shifting (we shift all the time, remember?) as I've shifted to countless parallel realities and a couple random realities. However, this was the first time I shifted to a reality where it was supposedly fictional (MHA).
So, what did I do?
This. Exactly what I'm doing right now.
You see, every time I was going to bed or idle with my thoughts (doing chores, walking, etc), I would imagine myself writing a success story or telling a friend (luv you @vixilic) about my successful shift. I'd think about how I'd decorate it, how I'd word my sentences, the feeling I'd get from it, things like that. In the time between my last post and now, I had managed to shift by (mainly) doing that.
Before you say, "Isn't that similar to the xyz method/a combination of abc and qrs?" Congratulations! You know so much that you can actually see the different aspects of Loa/shifting being applied. I'm not gonna pretend like I invented this approach, but it is what worked for me (and perhaps for you too).
So, for those who want a coherent, step by step guide on how to do this, look below:
1. Pick a reference Pick something that you're going to base your visualisation off of. Are you going to tell a shifting friend? Your favourite blog? What about writing your own post? Don't stress, you can use more than one
2. Do the damn visualisation Everyday, imagine what it'd be like to tell your success story. What did you do during the day? How were the people in that reality like? How did it feel? Were you nervous, excited, scared? Do this when you wake up and when you're going to sleep. Bonus points for doing this at other times too.
3. Relax This doesn't have to be an instantaneous method and you may not see "results" right away. The whole reason I started doing this in the first place is because I'm pretty busy with school currently and I wanted to do something related to shifting which I didn't have to think about much. Hell, that shift happened on a night where I had no plans, I didn't "try", I just wanted to sleep 😭
Tips:
- this can be compounded with other methods if you wish: subliminals, robotic affirmations, sats, etc - don't stress if your visualisation isn't perfect, feeling is much more key here - on that note, don't try and force a "feeling" either. maybe you're overthinking it or just not in the mood, you don't have to literally feel it - go with the flow and personalise this to yourself. this is a Tumblr post, not a military boot camp - this can be applied to more than just shifting, too

The hypnagogic state : how to reach it.

The hypnagogic state is a state where we naturally go into before sleeping, a sweet spot moment before sleeping and still being awake, a state where it is so powerful to be able to shift, get in the void, or basically do anything.
Now it requires NOTHING, it only requires one small thing that might sound tricky.
Staying awake long enough for it to come by on it's own, and actually on average it takes 10-5 mins from each person to enter it aware.
The steps:
Lay flat on your back (not needed, but many results come from laying on the back)
Do. Not. Care, just go with what you usually do to fall asleep, but one thing? You're not falling asleep, you're watching your body fall asleep, that sweet spot where your body is about to fall asleep? That's hypnagogia
Actually don't move, it may give your mind signs you're still not sleeping, now just lay there and try not to sleep while focusing on the blackness behind your eyelids.
You will start seeing flashing images or swirly things or even just flashing lights and imagery, this is the hypnagogia and you managed to reach it in just 10 mins of pretending to be asleep (acc it takes me 4)
Bam, that's the sweet spot, now affirm slowly for the void, or just sense your surroundings for shifting or maybe you can try your shifting method here! This state cannot argue back, you'll be immediately shifting in no time, and slipping in the void is so easy from it.
So really the whole steps is just "lay down, don't move, watch your eyelids, color seen? Hypnagogia reached, method or void procedure done, bam."
I managed to find a post on Reddit on how to keep your body awake, you can try 2 or 3 of them to keep yourself entertained, FULL CREDITS TO THE ONE WHO POSTED IT ON REDDIT (calaie_iscoolio):
"1. Looking in the darkness behind your eyelids
Basically what it says, when you close your eyes, just focus on the darkness until hypnagogic imagery begins to happen i.e. colors, shapes, literally anything that will show. When images begin to show up, do not interact or acknowledge what you are seeing, you can look at it, but don't try to control it and just let the images flow until you feel that the state is induced enough to where it won't disappear because you are "too" awake/aware.
2. "Forearm Up" Method
Another technique that basically helps with people who tend to fall asleep to quickly, basically lay down on your back like usual, lift your hand up in the air where your elbow is resting on your mattress, keep it there and as it slowly falls down that's where you'll begin to fall asleep, it'll drop and basically awake you back up.
I had also seen a shifter mention that they prefer to lay on their stomach and lifting their foot up in the air and basically do the same thing. This technique basically just wakes you back up.
3. Thomas Edison Method
Very similar to the "Forearm Up" Method, basically what Edison had done was he had held a steel ball in his hand, and when he began to fall asleep, the ball will drop and alert Edison awake, another technique to help with people to struggle to stay awake.
4. Imagine Constant Motion
Basically imagining something whether that be an animal or an object constantly moving like a horse galloping, a dogs tail wagging side to side, etc. (Pretty simple, for people who find it much easier to visualize).
5. Tire your body through out the day
During the day, you could do any tasks that would just tire your body out that leads up to your attempt to induce the state, it'll make it much easier for you to get into the state and induce it since your body is already tired enough to relax.
6. Repeating "hypnagogia"
This will mean you have you just repeat the words "hypnagogia" to yourself till you get tired enough and then hypnagogic imagery will eventually appear.
7. Counting
Basically just like regular shifting methods, you could focus on counting up to how much you want to until you begin to get the hypnagogic hallucinations, to keep yourself from falling asleep you could give yourself simple math questions just so it's enough to focus to answer it.
8. Imagining Randomness
Imagine literally anything that isn't related at all, i.e. horse, roof, apple, pen, desk, etc. Visualize and filter through random objects or animals that have no correlation and that will induce the hypnagogic imagery, randomness is key.
9. Focus on breathing
Similar to any shifting method, basically focusing on your breaths is another technique to induce the state. Literally just anything to keep your awareness occupied rather than letting your mind just shut down to go to sleep.
10. Sounds
Listening to anything in your environment, whether that be things happening outside, if it's raining listen to the rain, or if you've got headphones on listen to the music and focus that, keep your focus on the music so you don't fall asleep.
11. "Playing" a song in your head
Not necessarily listening to the song, but imagining the song playing in your head, whether that be your favorite song, if you know how it sounds like, imagine it playing and once you've entered the state, it will naturally play and you'll end up actually hearing the song.
12. Heartbeat
Basically just focus on your heartbeat. Listen to the amount of beats.
These are all the various of techniques you could use, you don't have to stick to one and can basicaally try them out, see which one you feel like works for you and go from there. A tip is also you could pick like 4 or 5 out of these 12 and just filter through the techniques if you can't just stick to one since you get uninterested quickly. (I get bored easily, do I normally do 8, 9, 7 and 4 just so I don't lose interest.)"

idk how many times this needs to be DRILLED into y'alls heads that 3D IS JUST A REFLECTION. ITS NOT YOUR 'REAL' REALITY. ITS A COPYCAT, ITS LITERALLY A MIRROR.
your mind, or 4d, or imagination whatever you wanna call it, is the real reality. its the original reality. and you control your imagination, right? so as soon as you say you have something, you already got it in your real reality. how does a mirror even matter? how does the 3d matter? you should not even be feeling like you need validation from the 3d. bitch YOU ARE THE VALIDATION. THE 3D LOOKS AT YOU FOR VALIDATION. NOT THE OTHER WAY ROUND.
if you guys just really realized that your actual reality is your 4d and your imagination, you would be so fucking nonchalant and relaxed tf out with manifesting. because its already yours. who cares about the 3d. its just a mirror, its only job is to reflect. if it shows you otherwise, just let it. know its yours already. just persist because ITS ALREADY DONE. BE FREE.

How to GENUINELY create an assumption without feeling like you’re lying to yourself/pretending/have to “convince” yourself. How to actually accept your desire as TRUE.
Please, please understand that an assumption isn't forced or something you have to "try" to believe because it's just something you accept as true without question. You don't wake up every day wondering if you have a name, if the sky is blue or if gravity works. You just know with certainty. That's how conscious manifestation works. You decide something IS true and of course it reflects like every other assumption. You need to ACTUALLY assume you have something to get it please don't pretend or hope. A real assumption isn't forced, it's something you accept as fact without needing proof. If you say you assumed something but then claim it didn't happen you didn't actually assume it lol. You either doubted it, contradicted it or held another assumption alongside it. You assuming is NOT a technique and it's not something you "do" to get something.
The reason some people treat creating an assumption like it's a technique is because they think if they repeat it enough their mind will suddenly be tricked into believing it. That's NOT how an assumption works. An assumption is just accepting something as fact. If you're trying to "convince" yourself you're admitting you don't actually accept it as true. Come on… your mind is not stupid. It knows when you're forcing something versus when you genuinely accept it as reality (assume it). You need to be so certain that questioning isn't even an option and idc if other people disagree because who questions an assumption? An assumption is something you accept as true without proof go search it up. You must stay firm. It's not hoping, testing or checking for results it's about knowing aka accepting it as a fact. When you truly assume something it becomes your reality instantly. Reality will always reflect your truth.
So how do you truly accept something as true? It's actually simple but people overlook because they think taking time to face what's holding them down will waste their time. It's better to find out why you're finding it difficult and address it instead of staying stuck in a loop forever.
You need to find out what is preventing you from accepting your own word as the truth. Why don't you trust your own word as a fact? If you tell yourself "I have my desire" but deep down you're doubting or waiting or looking for proof then ask yourself "why don't I trust myself?" What thoughts are making you second guess your own reality? Is it because you're treating the physical world as more real than your own assumptions? Is it because you think that the physical world is the reason why you think you don't have what you want, when in reality it's because you assumed it first for it to reflect? Did you forget that reality is a mirror of your assumptions? Could it be you're looking at your circumstances and saying ughhh this is what's happening instead of actually understanding that what's happening is just a reflection of what you have been assuming up until this moment? Or maybe you've placed your power outside of yourself right? You believe circumstances or external factors hold weight in your manifestation rather than realising that NOTHING is set in stone and the only thing dictating your reality is your current assumption right? Maybe you think you have to do something and this is far too simple?
Figure it out and actually just spend time with yourself to pin point where you are struggling. Stop running away from your problems and address the reason why you can't accept your word as the truth. Remind yourself of the basics of the Law if you need to.
Now ask yourself what are you ACTUALLY assuming? Look at you telling yourself "Oh I'm affirming for my SP" and that being reflected back: you affirming for your SP. Look at you treating the concept of "just decide" like another method or technique to get to your desire and that being reflected in your reality: you in the process of using "just decide" like a technique to manifest. See how perfect the Law is? It's reflecting exactly what you're assuming. You're seeing your assumptions play out exactly as they are because manifestation is always based on what you're ACTUALLY assuming. You're STILL giving options to reality when there are no options… it's only what you say it is. As soon as you drop the debate you have with yourself in your mind and stop entertaining opposing thoughts you'll see how easy it is. You don't argue with yourself about basic facts of your life do you? You just accept them as true. That's exactly how you need to see your assumptions. Yes you need to be that certain and firm.
I PROMISE you the "key" everyone talks about to getting what you want… repeat with me… is to decide once and for all that it's done and that's it. Just accept it as true. Please just say f*ck all and accept it as true. What will you lose? Just do it.

Journaling, affirming, visualizing, scripting, even just aggressively daydreaming while staring out the window like a misunderstood main character? It all works.

Don't get your head in those doubts like, 'Oh, what if I can't shift?' That's not possible. You were chosen to know about shifting for a REASON. There are 8.2 BILLION people in this world. Think about it. 8 BILLION people.
Now, how do you feel? Do you feel special? GOOD. Keep feeling that way. Some of you, not all of you, read these posts on Tumblr but don't really READ them.
'Oh, I'm the creator of my universe.' Yes, but do you really UNDERSTAND that? I feel like for some of you, it's like you're in front of a teacher, and each word just goes in one ear and out the other. Now, shifting isn't this ELABORATE and majestic thing that needs to be taught in a specific way. It's not like driving, okay? There are no rules, no directions, just YOU. Understand that it's just YOU.
That drink in your hand? You created that. The computer or phone you're reading this on? You created that. Everything in this world YOU created.
You are doing everything right. You know what I mean.
You will wake up in your DR. Those sleep methods you're doing? They're working perfectly. You aren't just 'close,' you are THERE. You have always been there, since the beginning of whatever. No need to think you are close, because you are there.
'Oh, but what if I don't shift today?' Shifting isn't something that needs to be rushed. Everything will happen eventually. You have shifted before; you know this. You know you need to just let go and let it happen. Don't overcomplicate it. Listen to yourself. Do you know how stupid you sound? Thousands of people have shifted to their DRs, and somehow you can't? That's just rubbish.
'Oh, what if that shift was just a dream?' What dream feels so real that you can feel the bedsheets? What dream looks like your desired reality so perfectly it has everything, even the rings and jewelry your aunt placed there on the dresser? Why did you get up and look in the mirror and see yourself perfectly and clearly? That was REAL. You shifted. Do not doubt yourself.
'But what if shifting is one elaborate joke?' Seriously? That's one of your doubts? People spend months, YEARS, shifting, and you think people are JOKING? You have spent 5 YEARS knowing about shifting and 2 or 3 actively shifting, and you still think it's a joke? YOU have to be joking with those doubts. This isn't like that one movie people suddenly made up on TikTok and started creating a plot, characters, settings, etc.; this is something real. People have been doing this even before you were born. Now, doesn't that doubt sound silly?
Now, you don't have to be perfect. Listen, people have shifted with doubts. But listen here, if you assume it is true, it is true. 'Oh, he's so in love with me.' Yeah, he is! 'Oh, my cat's super distant. Yeah, they are. Your subconscious isn't this mystical entity trying to work against you. It's like a mirror; if you look in that mirror and say, 'I can't shift,' then your subconscious repeats it. It has an IQ of 0. Like a little kid repeating every word and agreeing with your opinions. You tell that little kid, "Oh, I can shift! Everyone shifts." Then it repeats it; it agrees. That's how simple your subconscious is.
Now, what about intentions? Intentions aren't this super complicated ritual; they're just your thoughts. You don't have to write out your thoughts, burn the piece of paper, and bury the scraps in the ground. Just think. 'Oh, I set my intention to shift.' That's literally all you need to do. Your subconscious will look at you and shrug like, 'Oh okay. Let's shift!' And guess what? BOOM. You're in your DR. Simple. Literally so simple.
Now, some of you are like, "Oh, I did that! But I'm still in my CR." Look deep within yourself. Are you scared of the possibility you're going somewhere new? Or, do you expect to wake up in your CR again after doing your method? Really think about it and begin to change. Tell that subconscious that you don't expect to wake up in your CR, or tell it that you aren't scared; you're excited.
Now, as one of my favorite quotes says,
"You are a consciousness with a body, not a body with a consciousness."
Go shift. Go do your method, or just fall asleep and wake up in your DR. It's that simple. And every time you feel doubts, PERSIST. 'Oh, what if—' NOPE. I am going to shift.
You know about shifting for a reason. You can shift. It is INEVITABLE.
Now don't look at me all dumb; you know this. You've heard it a million times. Don't roll your eyes; THINK, and absorb this information.
Now go do whatever silly little thing you are going to do. But just know, you can shift. You WILL shift.

if it's not happening, it's because you’re still treating the 3d like it's anything but your own assumption reflecting back to you. still assuming lack while saying abundance. still looking for signs instead of stepping into the thing as if it's already yours.
nothing external needs to change. your state does. and that can happen in one second, in one thought.

  you keep checking . . . ౨ৎ  the second you look over your shoulder to see if it worked, you're signalling it hasn't. assumption doesn't need confirmation. assumption doesn't peek.  ꒰  what to do , stop asking. stop waiting. decide it's done and get on with your life. keep walking.

  subconscious doubts . . . ౨ৎ   somewhere deep, under the clean sentences you say out loud, there's a voice. 'what if it's not real?' 'what if i'm not good enough?' it camps out in the marrow, slowing you down before you ever start.  ꒰  what to do , rewire yourself. not once, not wistfully. daily, methodically. affirm it until it's more instinct than wish.

  overthinking the methods . . . ౨ৎ  you're not assembling a bomb. you're not cracking the human genome. shifting isn't method worship. it's assumption.  ꒰  what to do , pick what feels natural. raven, lullaby, drift, whatever stops the noise. trust the simplicity. complexity is a coffin.

  fear of success or change . . . ౨ৎ  self-sabotage wears a hundred faces. sometimes it's something that says you're safer in longing than in arrival. the mind clings to its ruins because they are familiar. ꒰  what to do , dig out the rot. write out your fears like you're testifying. remind yourself that change is not exile. you're allowed to cross thresholds.

Staying motivated throughout your shifting journey can be hard, but only if you don't know how to handle it!!
MY TIPS ON STAYING MOTIVATED
WHILST SHIFTING♡
°❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・COMPARISON!
❀Comparing your shifting journey to others is something we've all fallen into. Getting caught up in other's stories; "I shifted on my first attempt!!" "It took me five minutes to shift to my DR!!"
❀Whilst is an easy mistake to make, it is not a beneficial one. Comparing your journey to someone else's will not make you shift quicker. Comparing your journey to others will not make things that work for them correct.
That is just not how it works.
❀Instead, focus on yourself and ways that you can make you shift. Focus on the things you know that work for you and if you don't know—manifest and experiment! Try different methods, repeat affirmations. ONLY YOU CAN MAKE YOURSELF SHIFT.
°❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・AFFIRMATIONS!
❀Affirmations can be used for anything—not just shifting! It is a very powerful and useful resource to use throughout your shifting journey as it is the only thing that is required to make you shift.
Let me explain;
❀When affirming something you are essentially manifesting it into existence. Even if you don't necessarily believe what you are affirming, the power of repetition should not be dismissed.
❀Your subconscious will start to believe whatever you are telling it as long as you repeat it enough. Affirmations like: "I have already shifted" "I am a master shifter" "Shifting is easy for me." Can be very impacting.
❀After all, the only thing you need to shift is belief!! Belief in your capabilities and in yourself. Trust that you will shift and that you are capable of doing so.
Because you are.

WE ARE NOT YOUR GODS
Hi dolls! I'm back after a long, long hiatus (Bratz is back). Honestly, getting off Tumblr for a while and just taking time for myself and my life was the best thing I could've done for myself. I feel so much more refreshed and rejuvenated. My blog turned 1 year old a few days ago (yay!) so consider this my comeback post as well as a 1 year anniversary post.
Enough yapping, it's time to get to the point. We are not your Gods; people who shifted/entered the void state are not your Gods; thinkers such as Neville Goddard and Edward Art are not your Gods; people who run shiftblrs and loablrs are not your Gods; methods, techniques, meditations, and whatever else are not your Gods.
It's really as simple as that. Some of y'all really don't understand that we are just people: we don't have all the answers.
"But Athena, can't you just-"
No, I can't tell you why you haven't shifted after years of trying; I'm still figuring things out myself.
No, I can't manifest for you in the void state; it'll only be true in my reality and not yours.
No, I can't hand you all the answers on a silver platter; I am simply giving you my knowledge, experience, and vibes so you can take what resonates and leave what doesn't.
I get it, I used to be in the same boat. All these things felt so elusive and I mythologised them in my mind. After all, those bloggers were seemingly the "proof" I needed to know that everything I believe in and work towards is actually achievable. However, this mindset can quickly devolve if you aren't careful.
You see, these thoughts can create a reliance on external sources of validation. You can't really believe that shifting/manifesting/the void state is real or possible without others proving it to you. Soon enough, anecdotes aren't enough. You'll want more, really, something that you can grasp onto and give you hope that it's really true. This can lead you to putting other things onto a pedestal, creating a dependence on outside factors for everything: validation, motivation, you name it.
Let's go back to the basics (I wanna, wanna, wanna take you to the basics):
There are the 3D and 4D realities.
The 3D is what you perceive on a daily basis: it is the reason why you can "physically" read and interact with this post, along with other daily activities. However, it is not real. The 3D is a reflection of your dominant assumptions, beliefs, and state.
The 4D is the only real reality. It is what we would call our "imagination". Everything and nothing is simultaneously real in the 4D. It is the only genuine reality.
By putting all your reliance onto outside factors, you are giving your power away as well. It is also leaving you vulnerable to toxic mentalities and negative thinking because you are cementing the belief that you aren't enough. This is harmful not only to your journey, but also your mental and physical health as well. (Note: the opposite of always being happy can also be harmful as well. The best advice would be to allow your emotions to come as they do and to not suppress or exaggerate them. Shadow work and meditation are also things to look into if you struggle with either one).
Please, remember that we are not the answer, we do not hold the key, and we do not hold the power: you do. At the end of the day, your journey is a solo one and the things you'll discover about yourself are yours to find.
