Weird Al does not make good casual daily background music, because much of what makes him interesting and funny are his slapstick and subtle visual references. Once every 6-12 mos I'll have a day when I binge Weird Al music videos and MP3s and check them against their originals. Of course nerds love memorizing his lyrics, but his deep recognition (if not appreciation) for the visual source material is what sets him apart from other novelty singers. Al's authenticity as an artist is why Michael Jackson legally co-authored "Fat" and even loaned him his subway set to film the video for "Bad." Al's career has spanned decades and he released a 15 album box set last year.
Al’s Director Jay Levey even matched Marin Scorsese’s lighting in this quick sequence. See the videos side by side here.
tumblr is a total cesspool and im considering deleting my accts if things dont improve.
@staff why are you shadow banning sex workers
Why are we still having to constantly report scummy underage porn and pedophilia blogs, neo nazi blogs, gore blogs, beastiality blogs. Blogs that with every post break your rules and harass other users, including minors? Why are we always reporting these blogs and seeing them still exist? Not just new ones, but the SAME BLOGS. Why?
But sex workers who try to follow the rules and advertise their work no more vehemently and tailored to their audience than etsy sellers, are finding their content and blogs deleted with NO WARNING? What’s up?
Answers please @staff
Of the 100 magazines in the grocery store, one stack was facing backwards. Curiously, I flipped the hidden covers back around expecting nudity or a naughty word. Nope, this was an expose someone wasn't ready for.
It reminds me of the when my evangelical mom told me she felt like ripping a “Darwin fish” off the car in front of her and smashing it.
