still not over the fact that there is in the Buffy canon an episode where Buffy is in like work hell in another dimension and she grabs a literal hammer and sickle and holds them up and literally uses them to defeat the demon work overlords in order for her and a group of people to escape and that it remains as a scene used for the opening credits for like 2 seasons after.

Mind you this was in 1998 like could you imagine the discourse if a show did this today? I don't even think a show would be ballsy enough.
