gender is something i’ve struggled with very intimately in the majority of my teen years, if not all of them. as i’m turning 20 in a few months and leaving those years behind i’ve come to accept some things about myself that i wanted to repress for a very long time. as many of you know i’ve transitioned socially & medically and before i say anything i want it to be very clear that i do not regret any of it, nor will i ever resent the people in my life who supported me through it all. i do not want my experience to ever be used against any single person considering transitioning, because even if it isn’t my truth anymore it was my truth at one point and i will always embrace that & support anyone else who is living it & being their truest self. i’ve come to the decision to detransition & i’m happy with that choice along with everything it took to get me here. at this point in my life i identify with my girlhood more than i do with the years i’ve lived my life as male and i’m ready to re-embrace that :) i’m not asking anyone to understand, just to be respectful as i slowly but surely go through this change. if we’ve met in the past few years i have no problem if you continue to call me ollie, but i’ll also be going by my birth name, lily, from now on ♡ thank u for everything
