Baby Mermaid and The Sailor Boy (CC Pack for The Sims 4)

Baby Mermaid & The Sailor Boy is a toddler bedroom set that’s been in my mind (and in my sketchbook) for quite some time now. I had originally planned to release it earlier, but life got in the way and I had to put it on hold for a while. Still, the idea never really left me, especially with so many of you in the community asking for an under-the-sea or mermaid-inspired CC pack. 🧜‍♀️

I wanted it to feel cute and diverse, so I imagined a toddler version of Ariel and Prince Eric, and that’s how this collection came to life.

Ariel’s bedroom is focused on her life under the sea, with a beautiful toddler bed inspired by ocean shapes, a cute night light shaped like a shell with a glowing pearl, a coral-style bookcase, friendly undersea toys, and even an adorable octopus plushie.

Little Prince Eric has his own mini sailboat bed, a matching nightstand and dresser, a treasure chest toy box, and the sweetest seagull plush friend. And yes, the lighthouse bookcase doubles as a floor lamp!

A huge thanks to my buddy Billy (also known as @SimScraper2), who helped me sketch some of the objects, thanks to him, they turned out extra adorable! 🩵 If you haven’t seen Billy’s art yet, you’re missing out. Go follow and check it out!

Kaleidoscope Haircolor Palette

The new version of my haircolor palette! I got a lot of requests to share this palette back in 2017, but I never got around to do it before I had to leave the Sims community. So here it finally is. All colors are completely remade, some of them still look the same and some have a more interesting touch (at least that was my goal). I’ve reduced the palette from 65 to 42 colors because 65 felt so overwhelming that I wasn’t even motivated to recolor hair. So I hope you still like it the way it is now. :)

After noodlesims released their gorgeous default skinblend, I had to update my face overlay to match it! The regular EA lightness is still included though. This has my darker skin that I made which Tonks uses which is considerably darker than the ea skin and makes it look washed out in comparison. xD  Since the dark overlay would look weird face only I had to add a body so it uses noodlesims bodies so they match better. :)

for when hair isn't spiky enough

there are three styles of spikes with high and low placements, and a full side designed for my undercuts. there are left and right versions too, for asymmetric hair or if you want to mix colours (thanks @hymless!)

i haven't made a full head version but i recommend @raccoonium's spikey head!

⚙️ EUREKA! I figured it out! I can now create custom filters in CAS for just about anything. This is going to ruin my life… but maybe it'll make The Sims 4 a little more tolerable for you.

💬 I know a Search Bar would be awesome, but it would require Scale Form GFX modifications that are beyond my current capabilities. At one point in time, TwistedMexi was working on something similar to Better BuildBuy but for CAS. I have no idea if it was ever finished. For now, this is the best that I can give you.

📸 I will take better screenshots when I get the chance. I literally figured out how to do this in the middle of doing my BASE GAME CAS Overrides, CAS Add-Ons, and CAS De-Bloating™. In other words, this completely derailed my week.

🌸 WE CAN DO THIS. YOU AND ME, TOGETHER:

For all intents and purposes, this is a "community project". I am willing and able to create and maintain the required override, the hundreds upon hundreds of unique 9-digit "IDs" for the "TagValueNumber", and the unique Strings, etc., but I can't possibly override every custom CAS item in existence.

Help me make this a reality, and also, keep your fingers crossed that the override doesn't break under the weight of the hundreds unpon hundreds of entries I'm adding to it.

Oh hai, @sims4studioofficial. Can you add a BATCH FIX that <LOOKS THROUGH MY WISH LIST> allows us to add a "SpecialContent" TAG with a custom "TagValueNumber" to a whole folder of CAS mods? Even if you can't get the "CategoryNumber" to copy properly, a BATCH FIX will at least eliminate half the busywork.

🎓 HOW IT DO, PIKACHU:

If you're well-versed in creating or modifying CAS content, all you need to do is add a new TAG to your swatches - you can do just the first swatch, but you should do all swatches - and change the "CategoryNumber" to "127" (without the quotes), and change the "TagValueNumber" to the desired 9-digit "ID".

For everyone else who is new to this, there are detailed instructions on the Patreon OP that I will refine and expand SOON™.
