Name: Icarus Riem Alias: The Barista

Backstory: Child to a family that ran hotels, cafes, and bistros back in the day, Icarus was likely going to be dragged into the food business at a far earlier age had they not expressed such a vivid interest in the arts. Though they were encouraged by their family, things ultimately didn't work out-- schooling far too expensive, the stress of grades and expectations too far heavy a mental strain, their parents parting ways with each other and a series of bad business partners tricking their family led them to dropping out so not to put the family further in debt. Several states and houses gone and went before they was finally able to find work in a small cafe, much to their initial dismay but their mother's joy. But the work grew on them, and he became addicted to their craft. It was a mysterious thing to find such an intricate letter promising the money to pay off any of their mother's backlogged bills.

Item: French Press - scattered around the map are coffee beans that spawn randomly at set intervals of time. collecting 3 gives a momentary boost in speed and energy. the boost in energy provides a brief 2-second period where if hit by a hunter, the damage is negated. there's a 30 second cooldown on the speed boost, and 60 second cooldown on the damage negation effect. 

Traits: empathetic - for all they try to claim they don't like people, they are painfully hyper-sensitive to the emotions of others. for every down and chaired survivor, their decoding and vaulting speed is decreased by 25%. can stack up to 75%. desensitized - working in food service, they've seen the worst in people, and have become somewhat unresponsive to how horrible people can be when focusing on their job. when decoding, their radius of fear is highly decreased and they don't take note of the hunter's presence often until it's too late, making them more prone to being snuck up on and terror shocked. jittery - all the caffeine they consume makes them jumpy, and their fingers a bit clumsy at time. they decode at a slightly slower pace than average. however as a result they have a faster vaulting speed. deer-like - they do not have a very big presence, physically or metaphorically. their struggle rate is near non-existent.

a coworker’s been talkin w me loosely about the AZ: Amnesty stuff is all using the MotW system and I had the urge to rework my eldritch detective I’d planned out for the MotW system like a year ago. So someone on reddit made a mention about Kurt’s new Inventor skin mentioned ‘rescuing a teen from a weirdo’ and it never occurred to me the costumes all had descriptions and were connected this deeply!

so I went and compiled all of the Steam City/Steampunk AU skins together, because i’m now really interested in this AU??? Is Jack suppose to be the traitor? and i’m assuming Kurt rescued Naib from Jack & Bane, when the two of them were meeting with Kreacher/the “oddball”?? Or perhaps Bane is the ‘traitor’, I’m still not quite sure. what do yall think??

also for those who wish to play Identity V w me on PC, here’s my ID! I primarily play survivors and use Mercenary, but I also play Gardener and I’ve been learning how to play Seer. Saving to buy Ripper atm so I can finally play a Hunter more than just whenever Jack is free, rofl
