He really didn't mean it. But since returning to reality, he was trying hard to just remember. Remember anything. Even the faces of people felt strange.

I've successfully introduced my friend to Doctor Who AND customizing your tumblr blog. She's has this one blog since 2015 and never knew how to make it look anything like she wanted, so I offered to help her out. She's coming back over tomorrow to keep working on it and watch some more of the series.

Oh what was there to really say about Gallifrey? What could Zari really remember? It takes the drifter a long time before he finally talks to Jim.

"The constellation Kasterborous, that's where it is. Near the center of the galaxy, or at least as close as you can be without falling into a black hole." He says with a little half smile. He can vaguely remember learning that fact for the first time and having nightmares about tumbling into that blackhole. A little silly now.

"Its awfully dry year around, 'scept for the poles of snow. There's silver trees that sparkle in the sun and the sky turns a burning orange at night. It's beautiful and awful."

Looking back on it, Zari wouldn't be so sure why he even wanted to go on that joyride with his friend. While Kira had worried about becoming her father, he seemed to thrive on the idea of being even nearly as noticed. Maybe it was fate then that the children of enemies would become friends like they did.

"Ooooh look at you, so proper." He taunts. "I won't fall for some black hole. I'm a pretty good pilot, I have you know... And I totally paid attention to Omegle."

Of their class, Zari was actually ranked pretty highly. History... not so much.

"But suit yourself. If you change your mind, message me. We're taking off tomorrow night."

Kira shakes her head, rolling her eyes at his antics. Of course he would like to cause trouble and get them kicked out of the Academy before they can even graduate and get their titles. "Whoa. Whoa, boys. I know I can't stop you from doing whatever things you'd like to get yourselves expelled for, but I'm not planning to leave this planet until I at least earn my title, certificate in hand, given to me by the Lord President themself."

There she was, showing that knack for vanity that ran in the family, and especially in her father. It couldn't be helped. She was her father's daughter, even if she wasn't going to follow the same path as him concerning universal conquest and being enemies with the Doctor (or his relatives.) She had become rather fond of Zari.

"But do be careful. You don't want to get yourself stuck around a black hole. You know what happened to Omega after all...at least if you were paying any attention in class."
