Mini-sketches of my OC-girls
I was not at home, I was bored, and all I had at hand was a pen and a piece of paper

Idk why I even try to write anything romantic. Romance peaked in 2007 when Junpei brought his wife back from the dead.

Now he's drunk because of you,
Tsaritsa, tsaritsa.
Just one glance - and a fierce cold runs down his spine,
He simply cannot help but dissolve in you.

Today I brought you my strange ideas again. This is a Russian AU based on Persona 3, where the second half of the plot takes place in the nineties with adult characters (and it all started with schoolchildren in the late eighties). Junpei's name here is Yuri/Yura, and instead of baseball, he excelled at hockey (oops, minus teeth). And Chidori is Dora, aka Dasha, who previously did things that were not particularly good from a moral point of view and is now dealing with the consequences.
I finally decided to draw them because I heard a Metallica-style AI cover of Anna Asti's song and I was hooked, even if it doesn't match the time period.

Well, this art may look unusual, but now I will explain everything.
My friends and I took part in an event dedicated to Maslenitsa. It seems that this holiday has alternatives in different countries, but just in case, I’ll tell you about our traditions. This is a holiday that originates from Ancient Rus' and marks the symbolic transition from winter to spring. Maslenitsa lasts a week, during which it is customary to visit relatives and treat them to pancakes. Each day of the week has its own meaning.
I happened to have a Saturday, it’s called “sister-in-law’s get-togethers.” In the old days, on this day, the husband's relatives (mostly sisters) came to the newly married couple to check whether they were living well and to wish them happiness. Accordingly, the young wife cooked for the table.
So… Yes, in fact, this is Jundori in a near-Slavic setting. And Yukari, Kotone and Fuuka are here as Junpei's named sisters. For inspiration, I used the famous film fairy tales of Alexander Row ("Morozko", "Varvara the Beauty", "Evenings on a Farm near Dikanka" and others). Although I miscalculated the time a little and left out a lot of details that I had originally intended (for example, patterns on clothes), I like the result. And I managed to observe some traditions in clothing of that period. I even found an alternative for Junpei's baseball cap! By the way, this thing is called a “kartuz”…
